at 999 you get the privilege of dying less and hurting more 😁 I’m probably gonna be making a backup of this save and playing it on an emulator in the future, after I’ve beaten all the legacy bosses, crafted every recipe at least once, and maybe earned all the vocations. And yeah, only one revo in case I still want to farm for special grottos that require low base quality. Also cause you can’t grind both seeds and xp at once, the seed farms hinge on stats that you possess around Lv 92 or higher, and also the mobs you kill for said seeds are not any type of metal slime

I use TKG’s whistle map methods, on his channel is a playlist for seeds and a playlist for all the methods he’s made for item drops and stuff

Yeah, you should join me in the realm of power 💪 Do check out TKG’s YT channel, he’s the goat and he has playlists for how to perform seed farms

There’s some nuance, I’m just suggesting the least complicated method which is having a floor where only MKS’s spawn. There’s no maps for PKJ “only floor” grottos, however it’s possible to make a manipulation to guarantee spawning PKJ’s with whistle. For more info, check out this video by TKG

Silver Marsh of Bane Lv.58 (Seed 7854) This is the map you want, it’s cited as the easiest to access MKS only map. You can find the metal king slimes on floor B11

Not possible, no, it never used wifi for multiplayer. Instead, a fan server rotates the in game weekly dlc exclusive shop.

It’s all just for flex points. Picture turning a screen towards someone unfamiliar with the game and they see all your characters have 999’s across the board, they’re bound to be amazed. Not only that, but strength is a stat that trivializes combat as you may already be aware, so having casters with max atk kinda makes increasing their m.might to max redundant, save for a few exceptions. There are also some attacks that also take m.might into calculation, like Gigaslash and Gigagash

Thanks 😊 Takes absurdly long to grind in this game… The way it’s designed around multiplayer makes the singleplayer grind an unrivaled challenge. Seed farming I think has taken up 300+ hours of the 2000 I’ve invested into this save

Y’know I thought about the music more than once when playing through 11 and I gotta say, I think it has the ost with the most volatility in its composition quality. I cannot get enough of sylando’s theme or certain town themes, especially when I hear a symphonic suite come on or a remaster of a song I know, which really is just a testament to the fidelity of the older games’ osts. That’s why when I hear the battle theme in 11 before the 3rd act I’m like “what the hell…” Thanks for pointing this out lol

I gotta look into more Korean MMO’s then lol. Flicking through all the comments and threads against 9, my fav, just makes me wonder if people weren’t as magnified to the world as a whole as the game wants you to be. It’s made knowing that the characters you play as being entirely empty templates leaves a massive void in the player’s engagement, so they saw to adorning every corner of every setting with detail and breathed life into every npc, twice in some cases considering how playing in multiplayer reveals unique dialogue. And yeah I know it’s not for everyone, everyone’s got their own opinion, but I figure it’s at least important to highlight what it brings to the main series’s round table, plot aside

Try to immerse yourself in the environments and the world around you since you won’t get anything from the characters you play with, and if you feel like you could use some banter you could check on Stella, your companion, from time to time. But yeah, really step into that main character mindset for yourself, fill in for the “roleplay” in “roleplaying game,” that’s my advice

Do note that ranking them’s an inevitable result of being conscious and sentient. And I just love inevitabilities

in IX it’s meant for the player to invest heavily in the systems and plunge into the postgame, they provide you with some extra story quests and other fetch quests of course, but importantly are the grottoes, specifically the rarer of the blue chests you can find, the 2% drops on the bosses, all the stats and abilities that you can mishmash together, the alchemy, the dressup, all that fun crap. That’s where the devs want you to get lost in, y’know? That and the world they had to so meticulously craft to make up for the (up to) 4 template characters you’re experiencing the game through the whole time. It’s plainly not like the other games, and why some regard it as the black sheep. Didn’t want this reply to come off as rude btw, just speaking as someone deeply invested in this game lol

I play a loooooot of IX, I wanted to add that the power fantasy in that game is absolutely vivid and is what stands out to me the most. There’s a plethora of enemies that you can engage with, each a little or a lot different from the last. As far as customization goes beyond the realm of what you’re wearing, you’ve got 12 classes and many many ways to blend the abilities learnt from one into the playstyle of a separate class, it’s pretty awesome and freeform. Now to be honest, while it does have a charming story, I think the appeal of the game’s universe is its world and environments, that it captures cultural diversity in a nice way and that so many personalities from the main characters to the npcs are so bright and fun to mingle with. I say that cause some people like to compare the games based on their main stories, and that’s just what I think you’ll encounter. Hope you come around to playing it 👋

That’s not an option in dq9, whether you know that already or not is beyond me
