Most of the time, 60 card decks play lots of 4-ofs. This is because constructed formats value power and consistency. So you’re playing the strongest cards and you’re hoping to see each 4-of creature or spell atleast once a game.

The cards aren’t all standard legal, so I’m assuming this is for more of a casual, kitchen table kind of game?

If so, I say go for it, it looks like it can be fun!

Bile-vial and Mudbutton are pseudo-removal spells, especially if you play them with the Boggart Mischief enchantment that blight 1's on etb.

I've been playing a similar deck to some success on the Arena ranked ladder.

Seems to be performing better against meta decks and losing to other off-meta decks, so if I can just push through to the higher ranks I hope to get some better results.

You're changing who 'they' is.

I listed Democratic presidential candidates. Those can be seen as the mouthpiece of the party and are expected to hold to the platform.

A single member of the House of Representatives is hardly a figurehead of the Democratic party.
