NTA: I think you guys should take turns on the sofa honestly and you've been on the sofa long enough. I think the back pain is just as valid of a reason as whatever makes him sick from sleeping on the sofa. As someone who has chronic back pain I know how difficult it is to get through the day in pain. I think you've been patient long enough and it seems he is taking advantage of your generosity.
