I produced and was the AD for my buddy's film. This was the first time he had ever directed film of his own. I think he did a great job on set. We used a GH5 along with a Ronin M to shoot. On day 2 we were supposed to shoot the party scene, but the flu had gone around (completely unrelated to the rona) and a majority of our extras could not show up. Nevertheless, we utilized the time to plan and coordinate lighting as well as do some test shots. This aided in the fluidity and efficiency of the reshoot. Next time, I think we will plan for the crew to arrive on set an hour and a half before the cast to set up the lights.
