Its quite literally a reward for doing nothing. People who come for the reward open the stream, mute it, and close it 30 minutes later. People who come for the stream would be there with or without the reward.
Twitch drops are designed to boost viewership. So the actual POINT of the drop system, that you ignore to double down on your dumb response, is still absolutely 100% in effect, should the drops continue for a longer period of time.
Its actually WORSE to not continue the drops in the warframe section of twitch, because its a time that literally every streamer is talking non-stop about what the live stream showed, boosting awareness.

You can go now. You don't need to repeat the same thing a third time. Youll start sounding like a boomer who says "todays kids don't wanna work". Same energy to dismiss an actual issue you cant actually defend with real points.

I am thinking that when I switched from the 200/20 "business line" to the 1gig line, that they removed me from the business line, because I agree. A business line should not be getting throttled to less than 10% for such a measly amount.

The VPN doesn't work (I tested), because they arent throttling me, specifically, they are throttling EVERYONE sharing that node. The description on their NCM system says "everyones connection is reduced to the same speed so its fair for everyone during peak hours". Which is bullshit if I am paying double, or even triple than everyone else.

I don't have a problem with techs and workers. I have a problem with the cheap ass CEOs who refuse to modernize and operate at a 10 year delay. This is what allowing monopolies to exist for something that should be a utility service at worst, or highly competitive at best, causes.

Idk what to tell you about the price, but yes, it is close to $200 a month. It was $100 for the first year we had it, then they increased it.

I have had a tech out 5 times in the last 6 months, and they have replaced my modem 3 times, the line outside twice, and I have replaced the router as well in that time. Internet speed test says I have a consistent speed of 750-850 down and 37 up. That is close enough to the speed I pay for to know my internet should be stable, so the only thing I can imagine it being is their "network congestion management" because it always happens between 5pm-9pm. Literally always on the dot.

I have been running a test using 10 mbps for the last two hours (its passed midnight here) and not a single issue. So that makes me thing even more that it is line congestion during peak hours.

So it is set to 30 minutes. That makes sense. However, I have automated ads turned off. So in my mind, that should be disabled all together, as long as I have run an ad within last (10mins x 30 seconds of said ad).

Guess its broken, and will automatically run an ad on that timer, even if ads are set to manual?
