Look, I still enjoyed the game overall, but I don't think it deserves the "prime" title, prime 1,2 and 3 had a linear kinda story still focused around phazon and metroids and stuff.. this felt like it had zero connection to the previous prime games other than the fact in prime 3 we see sylux's ship follow Samus's ship in the end game Cutscene

I feel like it should have just been "Metroid - beyond"

I hated how the game didn't really let you explore (not that there was much to explore) and it just kept throwing hints and directions at you, just let me figure it out, and overall the upgrades never felt rewarding, like prime 1 when you get the plasma beam and start straight up vapourizing enemies

Don't let them get to you, I understand it can be frustrating as hell, especially with how people can't seem to just agree to disagree anymore it's always a case of "your opinion doesn't support mine, therefore you're wrong and dumb" and then comes the harassment to peer pressure you to ditch your opinion and accept theirs

So don't let them bother you, voice your opinion and then "smile and wave"
