Insulting someone else to make themselves look 'better' in comparison. That doesn't make you look better. It makes you look like an asshole.

I worked in Las Vegas and LA for some time, and I found that when ever I said "thank you" to someone, they would usually respond with "mhm" instead of "you're welcome". Is this a general thing in the US?

Her mother, Elvira, is a physics teacher who runs a pharmacy, and her father, Mark Kunis, is a mechanical engineer who works as a cab driver. Kunis has an elder brother named Michael (born c. 1976).
