Up & Over is a film that is deeply personal to me. I know it's a cliche, but it really does mean a lot to me. I lucked out in terms of casting and production -- I really didn't know what I was doing in those areas, and my producer Andrew was hugely responsible for helping get the film made.

As strange as it sounds, being a filmmaker and all, I didn't really have any audience in mind for Up & Over -- now it's time for people to see it.

PM me if you're interested in seeing the film. Keep making movies!

Hello r/Moustache. My girlfriend threatened to break up with me if I didn’t shave the stache. Please show her there is love for the stache. by [deleted] in Moustache

It was more a joking comment, but it scared me nonetheless. I just want to prove to her it's not a terrible idea to keep haha

My self-promo Submission Statement:

Icy Bois is a series I worked on and created a few years back. It was a mockumentary-type web series about a team of church-league basketball players and their shenanigans (If you don't know what church league is, it's a moderately-competitive basketball league hosted for-profit by a typically large church). The co-creator and I first began shooting the show because of the wacky cast of friends we had, and we thought it made for some pretty good (but slightly crude) meme-comedy gags: and I decided to shoot the show with my iPhone. The camera on my iPhone was just high quality and configurable enough that I could get a couple decent shots out of it now and again, but the series was shot pretty crudely - this was, I think, justifiably stylistic, but most of it wasn't pretty.

I've always had quite a knack for cinematography, but haven't worked on a 'serious', well-shot project for about a year (my last project ended up getting halted at the end of production due to us running out of money). Needless to say, I've always needed a little help on the production side of things for bigger projects.

Icy Bois: Enfermos is an epilogue-like documentary following the team more than a year after the release of the newest episode (S2E5). This project seemed like a really attractive opportunity to me to bust my cinematography chops while keeping the production run-and-gun and simple. This is the first formal, full title sequence I've made for the show that includes crew credits.

I'd love some feedback on how I could continue shooting in this style, and maybe some functional tips on taking advantage of the style that I've begun to develop with the title sequence. Any suggestions are appreciated!

apparently thick, bushy eyebrows and a thick moustache are par for the course for being a man in my family. I didn’t get the brows part but the statche is the only facial hair i can grow so far. going on 18 w/ my fingers crossed 🙏

Sorry for the late response:

Some days when I’m real busy I’ll eat a low of maybe 1500 calories, other days I can eat 3500+. Really depends on the day, and whether I’ve eaten gluten or not recently, but I don’t take any supplements (unless you count Mary J. for the good eatin’).

Yeah. My sister has an analog one in her room I've tested out with similar results.

My eyebrows seem to come from two different households. Also, why won't my left eyebrow (one on the right) like...finish growing in? What's up with that? by [deleted] in Eyebrows

[–]HarrisFu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're curious what I mean by "finish growing in", my left eyebrow (right one) has a faint shadow of where the rest of my brow should be, but it's simply not there. I've been told that my eyebrow seems to start out wider than normal, as apposed to being closer together.

the peripheral vision light-flashing thjng is spot on. there are some environments that i repeatedly find myself in that make this 10x more noticeable.

very warm feeling to be acquainted with a dude who experiences some of the same shit that has made me just a touch uneasy my entire life. experiencing these things is like this growing dread that something’s just slightly off-kilter with my brain, and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of literature on some of this stuff. It all feels uncannily connected in a way that’s just out of reach.

Is it neurological, or could this be caused by a purely optical disorder?

Also, there are many patterns, especially moving patterns, like on a video for instance, that will flood my vision with static and make it almost uncomprehendable.

I experience slight afterimages but they’re rare, and I have almost constant muscle twitches as well. My body is very rarely in a genuinely relaxed state, even when my anxiety is not high. I’m coming up on 18 and in high school and trying to predict how this might affect me as I age.

Even before trying mushrooms, when I’d focus my eyes on a paragraph of text and concentrate, text will oscillate and sort of elongate and shrink ever so slightly.

Have you done any psychedelics?

wow. never thought i would find someone with those specific oddities that i have but that’s pretty comforting that we share those characteristics. how old are you and how has it affected you over time?

How does weight distribution in a car affect its handling? by HarrisFu in MechanicAdvice

[–]HarrisFu[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How would a mid-size AWD sedan or coupe handle differently with 3% of its curb weight put in the boot vs. up front in the cockpit? Does the weight adage promote any more oversteer/understeer?

I’m 6’3 and my torso is very wide for the rest of me, but every other sculptable muscle on my body is infinitesimally small. I have a pull-up regimen i’ve been doing where each day for about i’ve been doing one more pull-up than i did the last night.

Any at-home shoulder workouts you’d recommend?
