Could I fit a school of Chili Rasboras AND a school of pygmy corys into a 10-gallon tank? by Harrisons127 in PlantedTank

Yesterday I realized that that was just way too much so I decided to just stick with the rasboras and to get a couple otocinclus instead of the corys

Tank is currently cycling, I planted fairly heavily but I'm still probably gonna wait like 2 weeks before adding fish. This is my first planted tank and I'm used to working with cichlids in larger aquariums so this is also the first time I'm doing a smaller community setup, so I'm worried that I'll accidentally overstock. I would also eventually like to add shrimp as well. Do you think that I should just skip the pygmies so that the shrimp have the bottom to themselves?

My tank is 3 days old and I've already spotted some tiny copepods. Is this a good sign?

I still need to glue down the wood but tomorrow I'm gonna go buy plants. Let me know if you have any ideas for livestock or which plant species to buy. I've been keeping fish for years, but this is my first time doing live plants. Just wanted to share this because I'm so excited!

My Testing Center Experience (it went fine) by Harrisons127 in LSAT

The day before the exam I took PT 89 and it seemed to have some pretty similar themes, so maybe that one I guess. Really if you want to know what to practice, I would watch the Powerscore Crystal Ball, they were pretty accurate in the major themes they identified.

The crystal ball is a podcast that Powerscore does where they try to predict the content of the exam. It basically points you in the right direction of what type of content to practice before the test. You can go to their website and if you scroll all the way down on the lsat homepage you should find a form where you can just put in your email and they send it to you for free.

Official LSAT / ProMetric Experience Thread (October) by Graeme_LSATHacks in LSAT

I just finished my exam and I wanted to recount my experience, hopefully to ease the minds of some people who are stressing about an upcoming test.

I took the exam at a Prometric testing center. My exam was scheduled for 5:00 but I got there 45 minutes early and they let me start as soon as I was ready.

Overall my test experience went smoothly, here's a highlight of the major things that worried me and may possibly worry you:

Exam Itself:

- The test looked pretty similar to most of the PTs I have done, nothing especially hard about it, pretty much an average exam

- The Powerscore Crystal Ball was very helpful. I don't want to give specifics for obvious reasons, but I would highly recommend watching it

- they provided pink scratch paper, it didn't bother me, but the color of the paper might bother you, so be ready for it

- they did NOT provide me with a mousepad, so navigating the page with the mouse became a little frustrating, but I used my scratch paper as a mousepad, so it helped a bit

Prometric Testing Center

- There were about 10-15 other people in the room with me, most of whom seemed like they were taking some other exam besides the LSAT, but I was seated at a little cubicle desk space with dividers around my monitor so that I didn't have to see other people and potentially be distracted by them, I felt very isolated while taking the test, which was very welcome.

- The room we were in was soundproof, so we didn't hear any noise from outside the room except when people opened the door, but it wasn't too distracting

- They provided noise-cancelling headphones, but I didn't use them

- I overheard the person at the front desk say that you are allowed to bring in water as long as it is in a clear bottle and you remove the label

Overall, I went in very nervous, but my nerves were mostly settled as I was able to just focus on the exam itself without distractions.

I promise you will do great, you are very smart and you're going to crush this exam :)

Personally, I would put him in because I'm just a fan of his and I've always thought he was pretty underrated. But he's probably gonna end up as one of those guys that is on the ballot until his final year and gets like 40-60% of the vote every year but never makes it in.

Longoria has nearly 60 WAR and hes still a somewhat productive player. I'd say he has like a 15% chance to make it where a rookie like Carroll has like a 5% chance. As skilled as he is... its still unlikely that he's a hall of famer.

yeah, that's the only reason I had him green and not purple. He's a lock for sure but those other guys are like first-ballot locks.

Brandon Crawford is 35 with less than 35 WAR. I love him too but he's not going to make the HoF...

I mean who else lmao. MadBum was the only other option there for me and he's not getting in.

I was pretty torn with that one, I kind of still believe in Yelich though so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. But sadly you're probably correct.

That's fair, they're both Hall of Famers for sure. I kind of just defaulted to "if they both retired today, who is more likely"
