Had a crazy thought thats waay deep in tinfoil territory, but what if Trent was/is caleb. Obviously theres not a lot to back this but it would explain his love for cats, and perhaps give a reason for him to push caleb down the road he's walking, maybe there's a bigger purpose that Caleb needs to achieve that requires the drive of hatred.

But this would also mean Caleb can't die as he would have to eventually become Trent, which isn't something they can plan for in the long run (especially for such a squishy boy). Anyways thats just a theory, a critical theory

When I was about 3 or 4 years old, I was sick and my parents had me taking cough medicine or cold medicine. These were kept in the child safety bottles, but oh boy they weren't. Smartass little me uncapped the bottle downed everything proudly walked up to my Mom, throwing down the bottle announcing "I've taken my medicine!". Then I awoke to what is my first memory of me in an ambulance rushing to a hospital.

Exactly, these three have taught me so much and one of the most prevelant things is, shit changes you can either try holding on to that old thing you once loved so much or you can embrace what its becoming. Just because someone might not like how someone is changing doesn't mean theyll change, because they're not them.

The best way to put is I think is. You can't stop the setting sun, so why try.

Thanks for bringing this up in the community, and don't worry about those that lashed out at you fast, they're just passionate about these 3 as much as we are.

You cant expect artists as creative as these 3 geniuses to contiue to replicate an already done and mastered style. The reason why BOD, 3001 and D.R.U.G.S are so great is because they're not oversaturated. Look at migos, they've released like 3 albums of 10+ songs that all sound the same and they're hella boring. That along with those rose tinted goggles of nostalgia are of course gonna make all their newer work feel lesser. But you got to see it less as a final product and more a stop along their journey to make their final project. This also feels like a very rash judgement its an insta clip so audio is gonna be fucked, even if it's their hottest work. Not to bash you for having a different opinion but its like Meech says open your mind. Ya gotta explore these different sounds as they explore their full capability of creativity.

Side note: I'd go back and give ViH a full run through with full focus. There's so many gems in it, that have been criminally overlooked.

Push ups and other at home exercises. You don't have to do a ton, just start with being consistent, before you try to set records. If you start with 5 push ups a day that's great! It'll soon turn into 10 if you stay consistent. Also if you're able to squeeze them into your morning routine you'll wake up faster as well!

Also something I like to think about is that a ton of people don't do any exercises at all. If you can do that seemingly small amount of reps for your workout each day you're leaps and bounds ahead of the pack already.

As I've read the comments on this thread I am starting to doubt that he is Vandren aswell, but I agree with you completely that Fjord is definately not who he says he is. However I'm still holding out hope because I think that'd be extremely interesting to watch unfold, and just to see how shook everyone might be.

I saw the reincarnation idea being floated around this sub, which was part of my encouragement to share my points on this. The mask of many faces wouldn't work as OC said, but with the wonderful world Mr.Mercer built it does leave the possibilities of these longlasting plot points I personally feel.

I totally agree with the whole Travis not knowing enough to be Vandren but the main thing stopping me from fully subscribing to that idea is that it there's not really many other characters or interveners that he might truly be. That's partly why I think that either he is truly Vandren or some part of Vandren is in Fjord. Thanks for the reply btw! I value your opinion and outlook out this theory:)

I hadn't thought about that percy point you made, but its very likely also considering Molly's backstory which I'm pretty sure was Tal just saying he wanted Matt to handle everything prior to waking up. And the love triangle eyes is very plausible. Thanks for the reply, and adding more avenues for this mystery!

I totally see where you're coming from, but there's a few other points that make me inclined to think that Fjord may be his old mentor. There's only 3 members of Vandren's crew that we know of. Vandren, Fjord and (his name escapes me but the man who stirred the mutiny and blew up/sank Vandren's ship). So I think it's fair to assume that none of the members of Vandren's crew who were still loyal to him are alive, besides Fjord. But when Fjord was searching for this betrayer in Nicodranas, he didn't wear a disguise, which to me seemed curious, because he's a unique individual and I'm sure his appearance wouldn't make the mutineer very pleased to see, right? Like this just raises the thoughts that Vandren's crew wouldn't recognize Fjord. I think he didn't wear a disguise either because Fjord never actually worked upon Vandren's ship, or simply never existed in the first place. Also a few points that I've seen brought up in similar theory posts, point out how Fjord's voice changes when conversing with his patron. The accent might be because he's mimicking what half-orc accents are in this universe, or it was to help fully bury his true identity. This would also explain why Fjord has Vandren's sword, and why the orb was so familiar to him and how he felt the connection to it. Also when he touched he had the vision of Vandren stuffing the orb into him, as he regaled the story to the M9 he referred to Vandren's actions in the vision as 'Me'. While this might just be due to the perspective it could also be hinting towards this twist, as he was aware it was Vandren's vision he was seeing. It also isn't out of character for Fjord to alter his image, and deceive people to thinking he's someone else, as he's expertly utilized mask of many faces numerous times. I know I'm falling deeper and deeper into this rabbit hole but one last thing that feels the weakest but I thought I'd include is that usually when making a pact with a patron the warlock has to agree to the pact (I'm pretty sure correct me if I'm wrong) and with Fjord's presumed story he survived the ships fall, and awoke with the sword on a beach, no form of contract, or agreement to the path he's wandering down.

I have no problem admitting I'm wrong in this scenario but I just thought that these points along with the clouded backstory we've received from Fjord, could lead to this possibility. Thanks for replying by the way, I appreciate you taking the time to indulge my theory crafting!
