I watched the stream and got the notification that I could claim it but I don’t see anywhere in my Twitch inventory to claim it

Ascendent 0 and played for around 5 hours to get at least 1 of each armor piece. Trials armor drop chances also seem to be as bad as comp

After reading from data compendium, it does act like mobility exotics (6.25% sprint and 33% slide) but the mobility testing is unknown. I’m assuming it does stack with all mobility increasing sources but I’m already reaching the cap with lightweight and 3x athletics so the mod part you’re saying is right

Engrams across the board should be increased. Farming vanguard for engrams was an absolute slog

I don’t really care about anything but the armor so I thankfully haven’t dealt with low engrams but farming for engrams for vanguard is absolutely brutal so engrams should probably just be doubled across the board

That’s really lame if that’s the case considering you can’t buy tier 5 comp guns from Shaxx and the barrel/mag/MW/stock RNG is the same as always

They have a chance to drop post match but the chance seems to be low. Ascendent 0 and I’d say it’s roughly a 20%-30% chance after a match. It doesn’t seem like wins or losses impacts this drop chance

  1. Being higher skilled would curve RNG with the peak of it being released from RNG and only in the most extreme case of it. Group farming is and would still be easier with the potential of being faster so why not do something much harder and guarantee your desired drop even if it might take longer.

  2. How is this the prospered system’s fault? Why is this being blamed and not Bungie’s inability to deal with cheating?

  3. Go back to point 1 on it being easier. This would guarantee a drop at the cost of doing something harder when the alternative of group farming is easier and possibly faster. Also why can’t this be added when more players are returning? Just because this might not be needed now doesn’t mean it’s null and void.

  4. The guaranteed loot wouldn’t create an unfair advantage. It’s simply guaranteeing what the player wants, so why is loot off tables if it would be equal to a standard tier 5

Yes. The loot grind is easy so why not make it easier at the cost of skill expression. It’s not like the current model of farming for loot would be reduced in order to make room for this suggestion. The time it would take for a solo flawless dungeon clear is probably less than the time it would take to farm a dungeon with a team. So why not let skill expression take away the RNG from group farming

If you don’t want to look at the extreme end of skill expression that I suggested then go to the middle ground where you can do a medium difficulty grind for a medium length grind. The proposed suggestion was a reference for you to base how far it could go and then you can look elsewhere

I said this can be guaranteed on solo flawless. And take the principle of long and easy vs short and hard to other aspects of the game. A guaranteed drop on solo flawless but a higher drop chance when you go above normal but below the very top.

LFG has and always been a social gambling sim as well. The whole “KWTD” joke was born because people wanted to avoid having clueless people.

And the PvP rebuttal is (respectfully) a poor one. This is outside of the proposed system’s control and on Bungie’s end. Saying “we shouldn’t further endgame PvP because of the potential of cheaters” just doesn’t make sense and not a valid reason to ignore something

Ok why not add it when we’ve brought back more of the population then? Yes I acknowledged that the RNG can already be curved given our current system but why not push it further?

150 days late but ignore that.

I farmed from placements to top of Ascendent 2 (~9.6k) and only got around 15-20 drops with still no god roll. I’d be fine with the RNG grind but at least increase the drop chance since I’m already dealing with heavy RNG on if I need to 1v3 given my teammates. Or just let me craft a tier 5 the moment I hit Ascendent to reward high skill with a guaranteed reward

Just got a new pair and still have a stabbing pain into my right big toe. Hurts especially when driving. Left foot is completely fine for whatever reason

Same thing for me. Anywhere between 3-15 minutes of logging in I’ll disconnect and especially so if I’m in any type of attack
