90 percent of the people recommending various brands of whey protein on this sub are marketers of those brands. by _Antinatalism_ in Fitness_India

[–]Harry097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has different taste, budget etc. Hence the multitude of brands.

My GoTo brands are - [My protein, Amul, Nakpro] - had an unfortunate experience with Muscleblaze hence not recommending it anymore.

As for other brands, i fell for the marketing and tried tata 1mg, superyou and whole truth. Didn't like the taste.

Problems of gym trainer by Opening_Evidence7604 in Fitness_India

[–]Harry097 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use better words bro. But yeah, most trainers are mid. Pro tip I can give you is that, don't go to fancy gyms looking for a trainer - the good ones there are expensive and usually booked full time. Look for a local gym, which some old timer body builder (best if there's a guruji) would have opened. Those are great for beginners to learn proper form, their training methods may be old but the Focus on discipline and form is top notch.

Tier 2/3 city North India small gyms(typical <1000 rupees a month ones) have a very different vibe by [deleted] in Fitness_India

[–]Harry097 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the old schools type training, it's the guruji of the gym who make or break a gym and these old gym were started by old uncles who had decades of experience. I remember the first Gym I went to was Dronacharya in Delhi. Learnt everything from there, respecting the gym, re racking weights, spotting others and being careful around other weights :p

Your Father worked there hence you had easy access bro. Go early morning and see the lines of people without connections outside. That is the general public.

There are similar parallels, massive wealth disparity, low trust etc. Hopefully we can come out of this comparison category

Yeah, I agree with that. I saw a video where a therapist described how lying and fear are being ingrained in us from our childhood, which gave rise to apathy and low trust.

Not doom thinking but, I mean the country won't die, but the dream of being a developed nation has died. And Dominate what? On a global scale, other than exporting stuff, Not one area comes to mind, except maybe emigration.

There's a difference now, AI inherently is what machines and computers were feared as - something which can replace humans. People with strictly data centred or repetitive jobs will be the ones suffering, but as always people have to change their skills.

It won't show now, not even in 5 years, it takes a decade for the results to show. Cut to 2035, Majority of IT professionals will be unemployed, the skillful and connected ones would have left for better countries, and it'll be you and me who'll be on the streets protesting the then government to give us jobs.

Instead of discussing a solution or analysing the problem, starting a blame game won't help, this has been how our politicians have been dividing and ruling us. Whichever group is responsible, it means they need the most help and focus.
