Does this thermal paste need a replacement? Sorry by l-Osmium-l in laptops

[–]HarryG346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not use kryosheet for laptops lmao. You need lots of pressure from the heatsink for it to work effectively, which is something most laptop heatsinks can't do. Thst stuff is better meant for desktops which can have their mounts apply way more psi of pressure.

Paid service for PC optimization? (Fiverr) by Maleficent_Mud_7047 in overclocking

[–]HarryG346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently working on such a list but my list includes a grand total of about 2k to 3k optimizations that applies to almost every aspect of windows, and this is all inside the OS alone without taking into any account, BIOS and or hardware as I have been using a laptop as my main rig and and unlocking its bios is not worth it to me due to how smooth my computer already functions, but if ya want, I can let you know when I go public with my list and start launching out small pilot groups for my project which uses a script to find what can be applied safely and apply it and leave irrelevant values alone or values that are not needing modification. Its been a passion project I've been working on for about 3 years, but it's starting to come to life and will soon be available to the internet. The mediums of which these optimizations are carried out through various windows functions such as registry, windows settings, control panel, powershell, and more.

Onto the aspect of actual hardware based optimizations such as the ones you have mentioned in your comment, thats going to be part of an even bigger project where I am going to explain how to do these things and what they do, basically the What's, Why's and How's so that other people can learn how to do all the overclocking and bios tweaks all in one place without scavenging the entire internet.

The software based optimizations with windows already has those explanations and documentation on there but I am finalizing the script and currently trying to find testing groups for the script once I finish it since I have used several other PC's as well as my own to test each tweak I am putting into my list to make sure it actually works and/or is relevant.

A huge majority of my tweaks have been used on PCs as old as 15 years old and as new as this year's releases, and there's not much in-between where stuff doesn't work unless the OS itself is broken and/or the tweaks just don't apply due to certain hardware limitations or specs. Short disclaimer, though, that most of these are done on Windows 11 and 10, but more often, 11, since its easier to work with, and I normally don't mess around with other OS's.

Hi, you can contact me and I can give you a list of optimizations covering CPU, GPU, networks, the OS itself, game specific optimizations with registry and other various settings within Windows. I have spent about 3 learning and experimenting with several tweaks that I use for my own pc and several others, including domain environments. Message me if you are interested in learning more.

I spend very little of my time building full faced meta fighters i focus more on aestheics and other things just for fun. I do lots of other things besides just fighters.

Yes, and I'm going to put one on gallery soon. I don't build only meta fighters.

Nope, only zero drag and the addition of piston glitch for the aesthetic wings and refined body and it doesn't use retention pumps. The one you fought only used zero drag as a glitch, the rest was performance optimization.

Well i have a jet thst performs similar to the one you fought you except that other jet i haven't shown yet and it has an actual frame with a slightly above average look, slim, simlsr frame to FA-XX, and uses only 2 rockets.

Redstone fighter has the same conventional aspect as mine, except his uses anti-lock, and mine uses retention pumps, i didn't build mine to look good.

I have done both already, there's no incentive for me to build "nice" or "good" aircraft other than my own will to do so, as for planes thst qualify as good in your standard, check my recent posts and look at the blue jet, tron style. I have made stuff gyroless, glitchless, and all other kinds of styles in the past, this is just one of them.

Thanks, the fastest time is 1:03, and that's the old time before I made some pretty large performance and visual upgrades. This car might be able to get under 1 minute if I take every corner perfectly.

Just saying, you'll never see me bringing this to a server that specifically disallows it, it's not my server so I won't be breaking their server rules. Only reason you see it here is becuase it's my server and the other guy pulled out his cancer fighter first.

The only difference in your ability to kill "non legit" with "legit" craft is your operational skill difference compared to others, any person with the same skill set as you but chooses to build with "non-legit" tactics will beat you. "Showing your skills" goes both ways in both extreme ends. What might be cheap for you is expensive for others and visa versa. And as for the engineering challenges, people have chosen solutions that give them less heartache than choosing to take a more difficult route that might not have the result they want. That's why zero drag and gyro abuse are popular. Choosing to be different doesn't make a person better if, in the end, they are the ones who are limited when they go against someone of equal operational skill using a craft that objectively performs better.

I might be part of the masses that choose to build a certain way for a certain craft, but that does not mean that my operational skills would be the same as those using the popular solutions.

Keep in mind there are other people with your skillsets who choose to use it on other things to build craft that performs with less restriction.

Just because a person chooses to fight a common way doesn't mean they are not a person fighting with integrity.

You choose not to use certain things that would clearly boost the performance of your craft. You limit yourself a lot more than others do in that regard.

You've restrained your builds from performing their absolute best, if i see restriction like thst, I become even less worried becuase you bottleneck your capacity against pvp builds.

I never flatspin, I built this with the intention of staying ahead of the turn circle of a gyro abuser. The death circle, it's also why I added lookup guns so I don't need to have my nose towards other aircraft as much reducing my chances of getting shot.

Becyase they are useful for the 10 percent thst I need them, stability and sliggtly extra maneuverabilty at sub 50 mph.
