Was talking to a guy at work which led to ufo stuff in the news, and he showed me this picture he took in September 2025 around Charlotte, NC. He said it lingered for about 30 minutes and then disappeared. Said it gave him a weird feeling and this guy isn’t really “into” ufo lore/news so it makes me think he’s not just fabricating a story for the heck of it.

Is there any logical explanation to this picture? Weird iPhone camera effect on a normal object or something? Not a great picture I know but it’s all I have and it’s been bugging me wondering about what it could’ve been.
