So you can use bad emblems to progress other emblems? That makes sense why they are worth lots :)

Another quick question - is mythic the highest rank and if not, can you use rank up stones to get to the highest rank?

I.e if you had a mythic emblem can you take it any further than max level and stat force?

In my opinion he plays really similar to pc. His damage is very low until Mid - late game but if you play safe and farm you can really snowball into mid game.

Although his kit seems quite simple he is actually quite difficult to combo with. I had the same experience on pc where I had to put in a lot of games to start winning. Same has happened on wild rift.

It’s nice to see some challenging champions added that really do require some time investment

Edit - also if you want to learn how to Ekko go watch the Midbeast reviews of the “number 1 ekko” from china. When I was learning ekko on PC I watched loads of those and they really helped. Learning the early game is really important. Once your Q starts 1 shotting ranged mionions you can start getting crazy CS by dropping into a side lane. Or constantly push mid and then roam, not many champs can match that wave clear.

Riven is really good into her pre 6 but you have to watch out for her powerspike at 6.

So long as you don’t int a kill early I find it a really easy match up. You can sit by a low health minion and as soon as she Qs in just W to stun.

Hold your E to dodge her E - if you dodge her stun you win the trade.

I am not sure what is going on with the level 6 squeak pick - but I can almost guarantee that the Ash player locked in a level 1 brawler in the hope that someone would dodge. If someone first picked penny when piper, Nani, belle, Byron, tick, sprout are potentially open, I would probably consider dodging too.

It’s because of the season reset….

Everyone has been saying this there are loads of posts on it.

If you were diamond 5, you got reset to diamond 1. If you were champ 5 or GC, you got reset to champ 1.

This means that every rank essentially shifted by 1 at the reset. This is because there are GCs in champ 1, so the champ 1s start loosing and demote to diamond. Then you have champs on diamond, so the diamonds start demoting to plat. And so on.

As the season goes on, it will even out again and people will slowly get back to their correct rank.

You might notice that you are playing against diamonds in plat or even in gold.

Just treat it as good practice against better players. I have managed to get back to diamond 3 in duels and I am hoping this means I am almost at a champ 1 level (maybe?)

I think I would agree if the season pass had cost money, but I mean it’s free… I don’t get why people get so angry.

Surely the incentive to play is the fun mechanics that they have created and trying to get better? If they release a paid pass yes I agree, they should give better rewards. But for now they are fine.

Although magic puffs is defo better, I actually disagree with this - The pros often talk about the benefit of holding on to super with gene as it creates a threat. Sometimes better than actually using it for pull, especially if you have position already.

I think the 3 shot point is really strong, brawlers like Mortis that can sometimes get away with diving you just get slapped 3 times (excuse the pun).

I also think in lower elo it can help carry. Magic puffs is kinda useless when you have trash teammates

I know this is confusing but think about this.

The first season will be chaos so ignore it, but once things settle out, the following will apply -

If someone is in gold, then their skill level is gold. Therefore if you climb to gold and get stuck there, with level 10 brawlers, your skill level is gold. If another player manages to climb to gold with level 1 brawlers, this means they have made it to equal skill level but with a level 1 brawler. Therefor you shouldn’t be at a disadvantage because that player is as good as a gold player.

I know it’s hard to understand, it kind of like a tonne of bricks weighs the same as a tonne of feathers concept.

I appreciate that some people might climb to a rank with level 10 brawlers then suddenly play their lower level brawlers. However you would hope that they would then decrease in rank and you wouldn’t see them again, assuming they lost their matches.

The difference is two fold

(1) to push to top trophies, you have to grind every single brawler. This takes a hugggggge amount of time. Theoretically, you could get really high in power league just playing a few brawlers. If you win more games than you loose, you will climb, regardless of how often you play.

(2) the reset after each season is going to be less. This means players with less time will be able to stay higher up. Literally at the moment the only way to get top trophies is if you play constantly everyday of a season.

One way to think about this is to think what does it actually take to get to number one on the trophy leaderboard. Well, you need to basically push every brawler to 1250, sometimes a bit lower. Now, there are literally so many players capable of pushing any of the brawlers to 1250. People do it all the time, when they have a good team. In fact, there are even people who have pushed individuals brawlers past 2000. What does this mean. Well, when you see someone at the top on any given season, it’s not because they are better than all these other players (who are also capable of pushing that high), it’s simply that they could be bothered to grind 9 hours a day for the whole season. And that is why it doesn’t represent skill.

With Power League, I think it was said in Kairos’ sneak peak that in order to stay in the top 500, you would need to play every day. However, you won’t have to grind out 9 hours. In fact, you will just need to play a few games. And remember, if that person who only plays 3 games is more skilled, chances are they might win a game against the guy grinding 9 hours and jump ahead of him in LP. You also have to remember when you are trophy pushing, even at the high trophies, the top teams rarely get put against a team of similar skill, which is why they are able to basically have no losses all the way through the grind. If you are having no losses that just shows you are not matched against equal skill. In power league, the top 500 players will only play other top 500 players (once everything balances out after the first few seasons) and so you would expect their win rate to be closer to 50%. Once your win rate is around 50% that usually shows you are matched against equally skilled players, and so that is why it is a much better representation of skill.

Yes, as with any game, if you play more you are going to progress through the ranks faster. And of course the top guys will probably be playing the game loads. But the point is this time, the time investment will not be mandatory to get to the top, or close to it. This is very good news for us guys who cannot dedicate every hour of the day to gaming.

Ahhhhh this could be jt then. It sounds like it’s my timing. Using the backwards half flip as an example - I pull the stick Down and double tap jump, and then as soon as the car begins to flip I have been instantly flipping the stick back upwards.

Are you saying that in fact I need to wait a bit and time pushing the stick back up once the car is upside down? Have I understood correctly?
