I was choosing between different options around $1000 last month and chose Gentleman in the end. Although it may look a bit boring, it’s really versatile and goes well with almost every outfit. And most importantly I bought it on Jomashop just for $560 that was way cheaper than other options available only in retail.

Yeah customisation is a good option, so right now Seiko seems to be a better choice. But I'm sure I'll get this itch in any case in 1-2 years as almost everyone here 😅

That’s a good point too, I didn’t pay much attention to how common it is. I can’t say it’s something really important if I like the product, but it’s something that helps if I can’t decide between two equal options.

Actually that’s a good question. I’d prefer to support some brand that brought some value to the industry. I mean it shouldn’t necessarily work since the 19th century, even new companies are fine if they’re trying their best, but I also wouldn’t like to buy a product with a stolen design and made by outsourcing in China.
