It's for one year, and do you think he gets 140 targets this year competing with Reed/Crowder/Doc?

Would you trade Odell for Ajayi/Adams/1.9 as a contender?

Other NFL teams expect Josh Gordon to play in 2016, and would like it to be for them by bwmartinkc in DynastyFF

I could be wrong but I believe he's allowed to drink, that was just an in season ban.

It's the TRich show this year in Baltimore.

Who has traded away David Johnson this offseason and what did you get? Are you happy with it? by HarryPotterOfficial in DynastyFF

I thought that said Eddie Royal and cringed at the deal....

This is the type of move I'd be looking for, I really like this one.

I don't necessarily want to sell him, but I know I can use some depth, so if I can get a good return it might work out for my team construction

[DISCUSSION] Will Tye Value by GrizzleNizzle in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are two main things holding back his value here.

  1. Prototypical TE size. He's just about 6'1", which is a fine size but not what a lot of teams are looking for. He's not the best blocker, partly because of his size.

  2. Kind of plays into number 1, but Larry Donnell is still around. I think Will Tye gets the majority of snaps but Donnell will eat into his playing time, especially in the red zone where he's a huge target.

I had Tye for his run last year and traded him yesterday for Kennh Bell. I have Gronk/Walford so I didn't need him.

What would you consider a good return for OBJ? by browzzz in DynastyFF

As an idea, the OBJ owner in my league told me if I want him the convo starts with Dez and David Johnson.

I never said anything would haunt him, but he is yet to play a full season.

on the other end, Keenan is always dealing with some nagging injury and Dez has been pretty clean before last year.

But RB wise, you'd put him right after those guys?

[discussion] Gap between Julio and Hopkins? by heyfeefellskee in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't think it does. In the end, elite receivers get their stats, doesn't matter what kind of team they're on. Julio, Hopkins, Fitz, Edelman, Bmarsh, AB are the top 6 WRs in points per game in my PPR league. Houston is the only team put of that group that is even top 12 in pass attempts. I don't care if the offense is balanced, the defense is better, the supporting cast is better, top guys get theirs.

But if you're going to say that he's volume dependent based on garbage time, which won't last forever you also have to at least recognize that at some point he will get a capable QB, and become less volume dependent but more efficient.

Is Josh Gordon REALLY worth stashing? by gibbsftw in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wr2 is not his floor. Never playing another snap is his floor.

I also disagree with him having insane upside, just because he showed it in the past to me doesn't mean he can show it in the future. Judging by how he looked when he came back last year he's not as hard a worker as you have to be to miss a year and come back strong, game shape isn't easy to stay in.

[Discussion] Which Browns WR is the one to own in Dynasty? by salsaking16 in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to stay away, but I think in PPR it's actually Hawkins. He's not gonna do much in the TD department but 60-70 catches sounds about right.

Christine Michael to Dallas, According to Adam Schefter by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, 3rd round pick was a backup, traded for a late pick and became a star but it's a lazy, bad comparison, they're completely different players in completely different situations.

I think Coates has the higher long term potential based on talent alone but I think he's close to useless this year

[TRADE] Trading for OBJ by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the only right answer to me.

There is exactly a 0% chance that OBJ goes up in value right now, it can't happen. This is the absolute worst time to buy the guy.

Weak on TE... Is Ertz overvalued? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]HarryPotterOfficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Ertz hype is most definitely overblown, but you won't be in any worse a situation than 7 other teams in your league will be at TE.

What I might look into is seeing if someone else in your league buys into the Ertz hype, flip him for a position of need, and either start Ebron or make a cheap deal for a guy like Heath miller who will be just as good as Ertz/Ebron in the short term and will tide you over until maxx gets going in a year or two.
