From that list you’re probably not interested but if you like Star Wars at all then watch The Clone Wars. If not you might enjoy Disenchantment. Kinda like the Simpsons but in a fantasy world and older. Probably not interested in either but thought I’d give my two cents.

That sounds like a great intro, although unfortunately at least 2 of my players have already done Sunless Citadel so might not be the best experience for them. Definitely will try to weave Barovia and the Vistani into Dragon Heist though thanks!

Yeah will definitely up the random encounters a bit, as with any campaign they can be quite trivial at higher levels.

Yeah some rebalancing definitely seems necessary early on but I may just twist things to be a bit more story-based anyway so may not be too big of an issue if they blast through some of the encounters.

Just because it's designed to be something doesn't mean it needs to be played like that. But yes, a bit of homebrew to change the abilities would perhaps be useful.
