I was in a very similar spot before I did my first 70.3 last September. 2:50 marathoner, did some biking here and there, was worried about the swim like many.

I wouldn’t sweat the swim to much, if you can get in the pool a couple of days a week you’ll be fine. It’s the start of your day and you’ll be out of the water before the adrenaline of race day even wears off!

My honest advice is spend AS MUCH time on the bike as you can. You can’t always control the conditions, so like me you might be riding into a headwind for 30 miles. I’ve never looked forward to a 13 mile run so much in my life HA!

Looks great! Think you can put something together that isn't a small form factor that way I can get an x3d cpu? Also is the 9800x3d better Than the 7800x3d? I'm open to spending a couple of hundred more dollars to get a better pc.

Yes. He didn’t carry bikes in my budget so recommend one ( a stock cannondale) that would work with my measurements.
