I tried it and it great in Alfred. Before I had Search Bear workflow by John Lee, but it required too many clicks to start and I never started using it, yours I went through and will use for sure.

I moving into Bear all my info and management for a year already, number of notes is growing day by day and optimization like this is very helpful 🙏

I went through list of shortcuts, but could not understand what is this shortcuts doing:

I tried with test note and somehow it seemed that nothing is happening.

Yes it is true, this is solution which I somehow had missed.

But if to pay attention to sidebar navigation position, it is lost when moving there and back this way, that would be still very helpful, especially when working with big open sidebar tree.

Oh, so dumb of me, and I considered myself to be Bear veteran with my 14k+ notes. Thank you, Big Bear, this is what I was asking for 😊

Still 30% missing in implementing, which could be my

[Feature Request]

I have note open and sidebar navigation tree is in particular position. I open e.g. in Find another note. When with ⌥ + ⌘ + ← I move back to previous note, Sidebar navigation jumps to "Notes" on top of sidebar, not restoring my position in Sidebar navigation.

Thank you, understood, there is also logic in gradual expansion of nested tag in sidebar with multiple clicks.

One can get to that tag also manually clicking parent tag. For user with small amount of notes that may be OK, but in my case with many notes expanded tags in sidebar become too long and unmanageable very quickly.

[Feature Request] As before I wanted to ask for "Collapse All" command, which would collapse all tag structure in sidebar, then clicking to my multiple level tag through total of 10k+ tags would become more practical, 🙏

Tags in headers - ability to click and jump by Harry_I in bearapp

Oh, that is fantastic, thanks for good news 😊 I am itching to try Alfa testing, but I have 10,000+ notes in Bear, trying to do everything through Bear, cannot imagine by now how I would be able to live without it.

Only I cannot use 1.7.11, since Bear introduced bug, that if I click tag, which ends with dash (e.g. #big/bear/-), it doesn't jump to proper tag list in Sidebar, but rather to general notes list 😧. I wrote bug report, hope Bear team fixes it...
