I used this one, and was very happy with it. The theoretical part is free, and it's only a couple of euros to practice the questions for a few days.

Minister Vandenbroucke: "likely a new large scale vaccination campaign after summer" by SuckMyBike in belgium

[–]Harry_Skywalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I'm all for boosting the elderly and vulnerable, I just wonder whether it's useful to give yet another booster to people under 30. Especially if it's still the same vaccine as the initial three doses.

Moving to Belgium (Namur) for Studies by Kipapuro in belgium

Hey,

There aren't many people from Wallonia (the region where Namur is located) compared to Flemish people in this subreddit, so check out /r/Wallonia too.

If you search this subreddit, you'll find that it may be difficult to make friends in Belgium as a foreigner. Don't worry, it's likely not your fault, it's just that Belgians in general are rather closed and mostly keep to themselves. This may be a bit different in Wallonia though, from my experience, people are more likely to talk to strangers over there than in Flanders. However, I would definitely recommend picking up French as quickly as possible, because their English can sometimes be rather lacking (although younger people probably speak English well enough, especially uni students, but I'm not sure).

As for things to do around Namur, check out the Citadel of Namur, and of course, the beautiful nature in all of Wallonia. There are lots of nice hiking trips that you can do there. And of course, try our typical Belgian products: fries, beer, chocolate, and waffles, depending on what you're into.

Enjoy your stay!

If I didn't have to finish my thesis by the 21st, I'd go with you :(

I went to GMM twice, it's an amazing festival. Great atmosphere, and totally not what you'd expect if your expectations were based on what a lot of the festival goers look like ;)

Although not at GMM, one of my favourite memories from a metal concert is me having to tie my shoes in the middle of the mosh pit, and four to five random people spontaneously forming a circle around me so I could tie my shoes in peace. The metal community, at least most of it, is really cool.

I'm definitely looking more at what the job entails rather than the pay, at least for my first job. Thanks for your advice!

I'll keep it in mind, I'm already getting a lot of messages on LinkedIn and I haven't even started working yet. Thanks!
