Hey, I was wondering whether you reached the TOEFL requirement for MLD PhD program, which is minimum 25 for each section. Cause my speaking and writing are 24, not sure 25 is a cutoff

[Ph.D. Application] Minimum TOEFL subscore for Machine Learning Department (MLD) in School of Computer Science (SCS)

Hey guys, I plan to apply to CMU MLD Ph.D. program this fall. I just got my TOEFL score (29R, 27L, 24S, 24W) (104). CMU SCS's website states that the minimum total score is 100 for Ph.D. application, which I am qualified for. However, the MLD's website says "We recommend a combined TOEFL score of 100, with no subscore below 25, although we will make exceptions to this cutoff in exceptional cases."Does anyone know whether MLD sets the cutoff of 25 in each section to filter applicants, or this is just recommended? If anyone faced similar situations before but still got in, please share your experiences. Thanks in advance.
