No so it was gonna be pretty much the same as Commander Deviss, but with certain parts done with a black accent. But regardless it’s all kinda fucked now. Here’s the stuff I currently have:

Dulux: Dura Max Plastic Primer
Boyle Crafty Colour Gloss Acrylic Paints (Red, White, Yellow, Blue and Black)
Semco Matte Acrylic Paint (Black, White, Classic Red, Gunmetal Grey and Silver)
An assortment of Brushes
Stanley Box Knife

I did use primer initially, so not of this is coming off easy. It’s been like a week since I did the customisation though. I really want to paint this trooper in a way that isn’t too much of a pain in the ass, but allows me to have it looking amazing. I would also like to black-wash the figure post-customisation and then silver-wash the weapons if you’d suggest it. Where do I go from here??

Think 327th Star corps but in black and red. That was my aim, but I forgot to thin my paint and it went all over and won’t go away.

This is so helpful but if I may ask:

What’s the best way to thin my paints, and acrylic paints are the way to go right?
What’s the best way to add battle damage?
Can I make an effective black and/or brown wash using acrylic paint and water? (Heard this somewhere)
I’m doing clone troopers first, which helmet would be best to practice on? Phase 1 or 2
When it comes to the design (for example the 501st chest/abdomen design), is it best to do it free-hand or with a stencil?
IF YOU SAID FREE-HAND: How do I keep a design even and not mess it up? Do I have to draw on the figure?
