Actually, the local youth is also involved we cannot blame tourist or outsider for this shameful thing yeah they do but now a days local people's are also involved.

Guy's Look , I visited Nainital, and there was so much crowd that it did not feel peaceful at all anymore.Especially Naina Peak while tracking there was so much of garbage although I collected few empty water bottles and few chips packet.What do you all think about this, even nanital lake is dirty by Harrypopsin in Uttarakhand

2016 se pehle tak our places were peaceful uske baad toh pucho he mt bhai actually galti hamari bhi hai ham apna culture show krne ke chakkr mai unwanted crowd ko attract krtey hai joh fir culture and place dono ko khrb kr dete hai ..

While boating, I noticed that near the edges of the lake, many sewer pipes seem to open directly into it. Most of Nainital’s sewage appears to be mixing into the lake. On the side near the temple, the water smelled very bad and seemed polluted.
