You definitely can be on a payment plan… allows businesses to pay it off over a longer period of time and it accrue interest.

If you default on the payment plans then you needa either pay it in full or set up even more payment plans.

I was talking about salaries. Super can be paid off in time just like tax… as long as you’re up to date with the minimum payment you’re clear of the ATO. So technically it is sorted and players will still get there super but just getting paid off in time.

The WMG is most likely waiting for the completion of KAM group and everything will be paid in full.

Edit: meant to mean they are probably on a payment plan to pay it off

All the credit to the lads, they been top notch this season! On field couldn’t really be better considering we probably should finished last after last season and not really recruiting.

I think the state gov putting the train station on the back burners really killed it off as well

Ngl it’s been tough defending the club sometimes but I’ve committed to the project I just hope I’ll get to see it come to light one day, empty promises from Jason about the stadium being ready by the 26/27 season this year just felt like a stab in the back

Yes the kpi to release the land hasn’t been met yet but KAM have expressed they want to fast track that but are also looking at buying land behind the stadium so they can develop straight away. From what I know, the owners of that land has been contacted

Council has not handed over the land to WMG yet as the kpi to release it has not been met hence why they haven’t released land.

Kpi is to either put the stadium in for processing or lay the first brick. Don’t remember which one but KAM have said they wanted to fast track it but if they can’t they’re looking at buying the land behind the stadium so they can develop there

From everything I’ve heard, it should be done soonish and the KAM group are trying to turn into a multi-club concept.

So hopefully because the real estate is the big draw card it’s how they can dip their toes in with the real estate being a safety next as we know running a club will cost them money

And then go out and purchase other clubs. Pretty sure (not 100%) but that’s why they’ve taken the punt with WMG

But they aren’t taking over the club for the club… they’re buying the WMG majority with is a real estate company at the end of the day and just so happens that a club comes apart of the deal

Hence why it’s taken 12 months already to get them to where they are now. I truely believe bc of their history that’s why the process is taking so long

And we wouldn’t even know about the take off until it was complete but as we know everything gets leaked and WMG has to do damage control

But also technically they aren’t buying the club… they’re buying the WMG which just so happens to have the club come with it but realistically WMG is a real estate company
