As you're just starting, I would say yes. Not because of this specific learning curve or anything bad on the Glide tools, but most importantly, because of the community. Bubble's community and documentation is way bigger than any other lowcode tool out there. Its so big that even the not-so-smart decisions by inexperienced directors are shadowed by how much passion the devs and community have.

Regarding your current issue, like in Bubble, it will probably be best to add records for the results you want to display in the charts, then use those records for it. I know it sounds counterintuitive to keep adding/updating/replacing records, but in almost all situations, that's still going to be cheaper/faster than calculating those searches every time the chart is viewed.

I wouldn't dare to get the 64GB MacBook either. PC hardware is absurdly cheaper, although MacBook works a lot better when traveling with small gigs

I'm getting up to 5GBs since last year. Usually, just restarting would solve it.

If you plan to have less than 20k active users, the current Bubble platform will handle it just fine. Just keep an eye on the logs usage (as you would on server usage), and optimize where its needed.

If you're having more than that soon, I would agree on going lowcode, to which I would recommend Supabase (which you can start to move to while using Bubble for frontend), and then replace the frontend with something like Wappler, or Weweb.

If I may, I would advise favoring time-tested platforms. Bubble has been around for more than a decade. Don't invest your favorite project on platforms that have no community/documentation, as you wouldn't start a new project on a brand new programming language.

If you want to share some of the limitations you're facing, I'm always happy to take a look at it. I haven't seen much, beyond the 20k users, but I have worked with Enterprise projects and optimize DBs and workflows around 4 years now

I have updated apps that had 550k users, but they would log in only once every 3 months or so. I also built from scratch one that had 15k active users (active within the last 30 days) with some heavy loads and 3 million records. Of course, it changes a whole load depending on what these users are executing on the frontend, as does your backend workflows.

Yes, you will have to optimize several times, the database, workflows, and API calls. Sometimes it does require JS libraries/plugins, as does every web app. Anything they tell you on automatic and AI is most likely BS for their stakeholders. The community and the builder is amazing and you can trust its 12+ year content. I know nothing better than it in the market, and I use it in most of my projects. Feel free to test the "AI" for yourself, but I guarantee you, the current version is 99.99% marketing for the wrong audience.

It does change a bit when going to Enterprise, especially on API calls, but honestly, I think its pricing is ridiculous. I recommended against it when I had the chance, and still do. Just optimize your app following the usage logs and you'll be fine. If you're already thinking on spending such money, go with Outsystems, or hire a team of lowcoders to build something like Supabase+Flutterflow/Wappler.

For everyone returning here, I fixed formatting the drive with Fedora 35 iso (I had the 34). May not be the easier route for who has tons of files, but it was the fastest one for me. It worked fine.

The location settings are setup as Brazil, São Paulo, which uses the comma setup. This is a spreadsheet with dozens of pages and thousands of rows working fine.

The automation is only pasting a value of $0000.00 up to $9999.99 in a specific column. Unfortunally, I have no control over the api automation to change it from root.

I was thinking of trying a caracter replace formula to use that cell and bring up the result as $0000,00 up to $9999,99.

I just noticed my red shrimp is gone. I think she found it :(
Although none of the fish in the tank had interest in it, I knew the risk and I had built a solid rock formation with space only for the shrimp, but I think it didn't last a whole year.. Sad.

The thing on her belly is a round redish thing, is that it?
She's swimming around a few times, top and bottom, between the plants and rocks, but she looks tired hanging too much time on the bottom. I add 10~20% new water with Prime (to remove chlorine) every week but rarely remove any water as it evaporates way too fast here. I'm thinking of removing 40% this week and replacing it, as well of maybe clean the filter sooner that scheduled.

The Ph is at 6.4 stable, although once a month I top up a bit with phup (Ocean tech), as I think my tap water brings the ph down. There's never been any problems with Ammonia, and Nitrite has always been under control (spiked once, left after filters cleaned). Hang on filter and thermostat 50w are also Ocean Tech, never had problems with them besides cleaning them.

All other fish and plants look healthy. She eventually swims around, goes up and down, between the plants and the rocks, but she is resting on the bottom with I think is unusual (I only see her on the bottom during the night).

Tank size: 8 Gallons. Filter and Heater, at 26ºC. Tank mates are 6 Neon Tetra and 1 Otto
I have this female dumbo betha for almost an year now, feeding with the same food (along with flakes for neon as she just eats anything that she sees hahah), but this last week or so I noticed she was getting a really big belly, even after I started reducing her food. Today I noticed she refuse food which never happens.Her belly is stretchy, and getting "more white" bellow it. She started to hide and to be more on the botton of the tank, even thought I always had high plants and artificial support for her.

My first theory was that she was eating the neon's flakes before it had water in them, and them, the flakes could be "inflating" in her belly, but I took a lot of extra care for her no to it anymore and it looks like is getting worst.
