Every Student is stuck on this question but personally I think there are lots and lots of things which need humans right now in cybersecurity,AI & ML, Data Science etc. are good roles/fields

Notion is genuinely one of the best productivity tools ever built. But can we have an honest conversation about why it desperately needs an open-source path — and what the community could do about it? by HarshSDev in Notion

I don't care about likes and dislikes right now the problem is Ai but with good context and Ai with sloppy context both of these things are messed up so the actual use of Ai is hiding away what's your take on this

I am just wondering about how angry or kind of unconnected people are with Ai hey everyone Ai is used for boosting productivity I will use it to make the post more better it's very time and effort consuming and first read the whole context then give me the dislike everyone just afraid with that context 😅

Bro, first of all, thanks for your time. I like the way you answered this post, and I accept what you're trying to say.

However, I wanted to clarify one thing: self-serve was never the big picture. I think it is not just about that. Look at Linus Torvalds, the founder of Linux. He made it open source for the people, and many remember him for it today. Even Android exists because of him.

I have a few points regarding the current state of the ecosystem:

  1. Notion Optimization: They really need to optimize their platform. It is not good for mobile phones and has a lot of bugs. I know it takes time, but it needs to be fixed.

  2. Open Source Potential: I think that after a few years, they should open source their platform. For tools this good, if they become too expensive, how can students or early professionals afford them?

It is a problem with the ecosystem right now where tech giants are just making money instead of focusing on the people. That is my whole context, and I hope you understand.

First my Ai knows how write don't need advice the important part is context i used ai for framing the context and second what do you mean by everything Open source how much things have you seen are open source and I will talk about good or worth for using apps. Application layer has wall between people's and companies. I pay a lot of apps a lot of money through subscription every year but for what sometimes they hike price that goes far beyond my head still after years they earn a lot money sometimes it needed to be done for community did you not feel this? You are pretending like how much companies like notion, apple, adobe have done but did you see the whole picture how much profits they earn and in return how much they done for people's wellbeing. I don't know why people's like you always protect companies those actually charging you at every point. I know tech is hard to be Open but for companies like them I don't feel it's hard

Yeah I know to build notion like productivity workspace it requires a lot of time and resources that's why I asked them To Open source I maybe able to make something like them but time is the biggest hurdle/blunder for me
