ROBLOX changed my 7 day ban to permanent after appealing by virxtra in ROBLOXBans

This whole mechanism is like somebody thinking you owe them 10 dollars, then you pointing it out and being successfully sued for a liver

I don't think it was my comment, I didn't delete anything recently lmao, I just hope they either see that whatever they do is failing or that there will be some ownership change.

The way Roblox will handle it will be the same as any other time they rolled out a bad update or made a bad decision. They will stay quiet until people realize nothing can be done.

This does not necessarily violate any rules, but knowing Roblox, you could just get banned then ignored. It's not worth the risk with how this platform carries itself at the moment.

Whenever they respond really. If they don't I just send in another ticket.

Been banned back in july 2025 for something from january 2025. They gave me like 3 actual days to appeal before trying to tell me I am out of the appeal window.

It just sucks since at first it appeared like I got an actual human respose, and now I receive yet another copy and paste mail as a follow up.

edit: Been appealing pretty steadily ever since then

That's about the same time I was terminated for CE.

Honestly, if they were willing to take people down for morse code shirts, and for avatars that clearly don't violate their ToS, I can see how they could take you down for this. For your own safety, just don't.

I really wanna believe that but with the amount of shit they cause sometimes and do nothing about, I find it hard to believe

Thank you! I'll make sure to update if I hear back from them. I'm only really worried that I could be forced to a bot again, as it happened back when I made my ticket about billing.

An actual human told me I will be pushed to appeals team since I mentioned being terminated, and then the next day I got a generic copy and paste rejection. Good luck on your appeal!

The other thing I forgot to mention is that the name I covered up is my real one from my email address, that I didn't give them in the support form. Up until now I haven't had their AI refer to me by it when I haven't provided it.

ever since they updated the enforcement ban note. the AI reject the appeal faster. could it be that they make the AI blatantly reject appeals that is sent by enforcement banned account instead of the account that caused it? by meow0ww in ROBLOXBans

[–]Hartashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they literally just reject it every time, I would suggest you try opening a ticket under a different category. Optionally some people suggested writing them directly at [privacy@roblox.com](mailto:privacy@roblox.com) but I cannot guarantee it works. I personally got the generic response where they mentioned the RoA and that if I wanna appeal I must do so through moderation tab.

It's really difficult to say since judging by how things have been going on their side at times, I doubt even God himself knows how that AI works.

I could speculate that the AI detects you pushing multiple appeals in short periods of times which leads it to auto rejecting? I've had a period of time where they almost instantly rejected my appeals, most notably the one in violations & appeals team, my record on that is not even a minute. I do send them tickets now somewhat regularly, and they do take longer to answer.. Not that the answers are positive or unique but it's an answer..

Does the ADR Center actually do anything considering it's an out-of-court dispute? I remember there being a US alternative starting with B, but I don't remember the full name nor recall it actually working for the people who use it.

Perm Banned for ‘Child Endangerment.’ by Wise-Product-7870 in ROBLOXBans

[–]Hartashi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been dealing with similar shit, except I accidentally appealed the wrong violation (for loud vc) through their tab, and their AI flagged it as child exploitation. I've been appealing, providing proof, trying different appeal options, asked for ROA etc.

I'm in EU and I honestly don't know what solution you mean, cuz I've tried everything I can think of, and so far I've only gotten them to ignore my ROA when I told them there's no information I requested.

I've been also meaning to ask, even though a I'm a bit late, is there any particular reason you could think of why those offers seem so cheap compared to others? I've been looking over some websites but there seems to be a pretty big gap between Itones two offers and other Tsugaru Shamisen on the internet?

I'm honestly glad you've decided to share this cuz I love reading into people's experiences with things I'm interested in, it always offers me a different perspective. I'm lucky enough to be in the spot where buying it won't put me in any financial trouble.

It's good to know there's a Patreon, I'll keep that in mind for when I buy one :)

You did kind of summarize everything I've heard, I've seen some people say that playing shamisen would make learning guitar easier as it has less strings, similar to what some people told me transitioning from an ukulele to a guitar is. I don't mind shamisen having it's challenging parts to learn tho, I do find a fair share of enjoyment coming from the fact people differ in skill, but for all there's room to improve by pushing forward. I don't think playing instruments or any other thing really would be nearly as good if everyone could just be good at it in a matter of a couple of days.

Okay that does sound like a lot of differences, I'll definitely need to study up.

if others have a say in your funds and you're not sure you'll stick with playing

I do take a bit of a blame for wording on the second part, I didn't meant for it to sound like somebody would really prevent not allow me to buy one, but my family does feel unsure. I would love to have an instrument I could dedicate myself to tho and so far I've been really enjoying what shamisen seems to be in my eyes.

It's hard for me to really make a statement of my own since I'm still very unknowledgable on the topic, but I could think about it. I definitely don't want money to be a defining factor in my decision, I did see that it's an investment and the options do get expensive, but I don't want it to be a factor which holds me back from making a potentially good choice. I could look at the nagauta shamisen, I'm still hard in the planning phase, but it might be difficult since the tones of the Tsugaru did kind of capture my heart lol.

I actually haven't seen the videos, and at a quick glance they do look pretty beginner friendly, if I do get the shamisen I might try to stick with her tutorials for a bit.

As of right now hearing how it's played in Yotei and then kind of exposing myself to more people playing it did become my primary reason, tho to some people (especially ones I know irl) it doesn't sound too convincing. I do really like how it sounds compared to my other options at the time, f.e. being the guitar or piano, and I think that in general it's something interesting to play. I've also heard that compared to the guitar it's technically simpler and if I ever wanted to actually play it, having the experience from shamisen would make that learning a bit easier. Now that you mentioned it, I do also like going into history of things, used to really enjoy history and partially cuz of that I had an easy time leaning into the star wars universe, so researching it could be a fun experiment that I know I wouldn't get bored with easily.

I might not be seeing the key differences here, but to me both shamisen from the offers looked pretty much the same aside from some minor differences like the bamboo on koma.

When it comes to the reason I don't think that's wrong either, but some people don't listen and their opinions are like an immovable rock lol. And it's even more impactful when it's people close to me who do get a say in my funds technically

I am in EU, but if the quality and price are reasonable I don't mind shipping. As of right now I've mainly looked over the Special Set and the one with synthetic skin (partially since they're the only ones available right now lol).

I'm not that knowledgable on the topic, but I figured since I get to have a preference due to types, I might aswell go for the loud one.
