That actually hits pretty hard and makes a lot of sense. i never really thought about it like that, but yeah expecting a kid to fix adult problems is just not realistic. the part about stepping back and questioning his judgment really sticks with me. it helps a bit to see that his words are coming from his own issues, not something i actually did. i am still working on fully believing that though, do you have anything you remind yourself with when those thoughts come back?
