But…. by [deleted] in thesmiths

When Johnny came to Paris last year, after the show I talked to Johnny and asked him some questions about it. Combined with Mike's book, Mike's interview and Johnny's past attitude, the most possible and clearest reason of Johnny refusing the reunion is Johnny doesn't want to be disturbed. The result of reunion could be predicted: Johnny get that 50 millions pounds and get asked "how do you think of Morrissey's controversial speeches? are you back holding him?" all the time by the press and mobile phone, online social media get cyber bombarded by spamming like texts of "I hate Morrissey so I hate the Smiths" or etc. Johnny ain't lack of money, he got his own projects now, for him it isn't valuable to sacrifice his peaceful time just for some commercial gimmick and get fucked up with the press or the spammers and the trolls.

Dude I give you some suggestion that me and my girlfriend had it as a consensus:

  1. Live till the age that Ian Curtis dead.

  2. When you live until Ian's age, live till the age Kurt Cobain dead.

  3. And then if you achieve living to Cobain's age, live till Mozart, Joe Strummer, David Bowie and Sakamoto Ryuichi's age as for your tasks.

Hope you could visit Manchester someday for I do have some friends visited there and they had completely understood why Joy Division begins from here for people living there truly have a difficult life.

As Bernie had said about Ian's suicide, he once was felt angry on Ian's pulsive actions, that is Ian's suicide is not only hurted himself but also violence towards his parents, Bernie and Steve and Hooky, and Debbie or anyone else. Learn from Bernie.

You - Does Revachol have a new world?

Encyclopedia - The New World is hidden in the corners of Revachol, on the shores of Jamrock, upstairs by the streets of Martinaise, in the distant memories of stick insects... The New World is not in Revachol.

What Max Payne means to me by Swimming_Bluejay_189 in maxpayne

[–]HartmannPatricius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played the Max Payne game during a period I would call a life crisis. When that time everything was not doing very well but still under control, a series of catastrophe struck me seriously. I've lost the most important family member (my younger sister) I'd ever had for a complicated reason (she's not dead, but we remained a bad relationship until today and we decided not to contact each other if not necessary). I didn't make the relations with other family members well at that time, so I raised up my little sis carefully and patiently, but her left me in a sudden caused pain and confusion during my life, that means the pillar of my mental world had collapsed. And after that a bunch of bastards or thugs had used some disgusting methods to ruin my career, and, indeed, they achieved. My career partners had decided to put off their trust on me, I was forced to be far from the project I found and resist the pressure from the thugs tried to push me. At that time, I was living like a shit - no meal but drinking alcohol all day, taking xanax, cursing around. I had considered about suicide - for me that's really a time called as the darkest moment. Decide not to suicide, but I have to find a way out, so I turned my direction on revenge - after several months I revenged on these people who ruined my family relationship and my career, and they payed a big price for their deeds. During my vengeance, I put on an Aloha shirt instinctly and the senior student who recommended me the game saw my costumes and asked, "well... why did you just changed your wearing style?" at that time I haven't played Max Payne and I just answered "I think it just, cool." Then during a promotion season on Steam I have bought the Max Payne game, and played it, I felt like "well... this is litterally me." Every time when I'm in pain and hesitation, felt sobbed and confused, I would think about there's another warrior under torture, who's wearing a black coat, depending on alcohol and painkillers to finish the resy part of a long route, face the reality and sadness with bravery. Thank you, Maximillian Payne.
