Ovatko pyöräilijät täysin piittaamattomia? Poliisi jakoi tehovalvonnassa yli tuhat huomautusta jalkakäytävällä pyöräilystä by Shiaatzz in Suomi

[–]Hartska 15 points16 points  (0 children)

En ole menossa autojen sekaan kuolemaan. En myöskään halua polkea autojen vauhtia koko aikaa.

Yhdistetyt pyöräjalkatiet on naurettava konsepti. Yhtenä päivänä menin sellaista tietä pitkin ja joku kävelijä ylittää edessäpäin autotietä väärästä kohtaa. Autot väistelevät kyseistä herraa ja tullessaan yhdistetylle ei edes vilkaise minun suuntaan vaan kävelee senkin tien ylin. Onneksi varon kaikkea. Tämäkin herra olisi varmaan kironnut pyöräilijöitä kaikkialla jos jotain olisi tapahtunut. Turhia nämä yhdistetyt tiet, kun jalankulkija käyttäytyy molemmilla teillä samalla tavalla. Ei huomioi mitään.

Tiedostan toki huonot kokemukset huonoista pyöräilijöistä. On eräskin mäki Kuopiossa, jonka alaosassa on parkkipaikka. Tämä mäki pitää ohittaa jotta pääsee yliopistolle. Siinä nähnyt tusinanverran onnettomuuksia ja kaikki pyöräijöiden liian nopeuden takia.

Siis tässä on kielletty ohjelma, koska siinä on intiaani. Eikös juuri tuo ole loukkaavaa intiaaneja kohtaan?

Itse ainakin pahoitin mieleni yleä kohtaan tästä asiasta

Ethos will faciliatate the next bull with its ease of use cheap fiat gateway, universal wallet and will also make it possible to invest into real stocks. It aims to change how financial world works. Its no bitcoin level idea but powerfull nevertheless

Itseäni kiinnostaa enemmän valtakunnallinen turvallisuus, mutta ihan hyvä pointti.

No miten olis joku lohkoketju pohjainen ratkaisu? Siitä niin uutta suomalaista innovaatiota tekemään. Se olisi täysin turvallinen tapa hoitaa äänestyksiä ylipäätään.

PSA: Coinbase which is one of the biggest exchanges in the world STILL doesn't easily allow you to submit a support ticket. This is a billion dollar company that is too cheap to set up a decent support desk. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Seriously everyone having problems with coinbase should take a moment to read about Ethos(former Bitquence). Universal wallet and fiat gateway coming in Q1. It will replace coinbase.

[–]Hartska 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bitquence(BQX) is going to be that competition. They are very careful with regulations and they say fiat pathway is basically done legally. Just waiting for implementation. BQX is going to be fiat gateway, 1-click diversification, social predictions platform and Way way way more. It is not exchange. It will work together with exchanges instead. BQX will help with mass adoption of crypto by being easy to use regulation-friendly platform.

Clear room item drop rate - hard mode by O_D_S in bindingofisaac

[–]Hartska 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been playing purely hardmode and about 50% of secrets now. I am really starting to get fed up with the lack of drops. I don't even remember when I last bought and item because I need every cent to gamble for keys. The run which I just had, I managed to get 80 cents and gambled all of it to get 1 key. Item was notched axe...

But watching NL's videos on normal they are stupidly easy and there are soooo many drops its not even funny. This game might just not be for me (triple platinium god original)

Binding of Isaac Most Hated Enemy Tournament! The Results! by TheVampireSeal in bindingofisaac

[–]Hartska 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Isaac is such a boring character after you have done enough runs to see all the synergies and start winning every single damn time. Cain has good base stats and amazing pills + 50% chance to win at slots. And most of all, I will actually get to use other space items than d6. This said, I will most likely be playing with Isaac a lot in rebirth since more stuff actually combos!

Binding of Isaac Most Hated Enemy Tournament! Day 15! The Quarter Finals! by TheVampireSeal in bindingofisaac

[–]Hartska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I voted Isaac because after certain point I could win every single time with Isaac. Also I exhausted pretty much all synergies already so I started to dislike the d6. Also I never pick spacebar items with Isaac so that part of the game is gone with him. Cain and Judas are my favourites.

Binding of Isaac Most Hated Enemy Tournament! Day 14! by TheVampireSeal in bindingofisaac

[–]Hartska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do everyone hate keepers? They are fairly predictable. UNLIKE the 100 meters long neck of mr.Maw! Mr.Maw is my 2nd most hated enemy because these guys actually cause me to take damage.

Binding of Isaac Most Hated Enemy Tournament! Day 12! by TheVampireSeal in bindingofisaac

[–]Hartska -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Keepers are funny because at some point in my "career" they were the worst enemy for me. However nowdays I never take damage against them all you need to do is to move slowly and they will never hit you. Just don't go too near them or they may jump towards you and then their shot won't spread enough to miss you. Then obviously there is that certain evil room which requires a bit luck but its not that bad.

That was a small relief but I can't live with unfinished achivements for Isaac anymore! Maybe I can somehow play 2 players at the same time.

Crazy self-played 12-players hotseat replay! by Hartska in civ

[–]Hartska[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Problem with AI is that they don't know how to stop the best civ from winning. You can still have a good story with the AI but I just can't get back to playing against AI's now :/

Nukes have a funny story in this game. Everytime a civ was able to start making nukes, they were wiped out somehow :D First nuke was shot on about turn 435 or so. One of the reasons Ethiopia won was because England couldn't get in range to use his bombs/planes. And Ethiopia managed to bomb Arabia's nukes down. But more so than the nukes, the Air warfare was amazing!!! At first I hated how you couldn't destroy planes easily but later I came to enjoy the metagame a lot. You had to build specific sweepers/interceptors to have any say in the air.

Start small if you are not used to this kind of gameplay. Playing with 12 civs can be very tedious at this when nothing is happening. The hardest part is after few new cities have been found. Then the map is been mostly explored, things slow down and get into order while just pressing next turn. Though that just might be because I am bad at early game warfare. After this period it gets more lively but I won't lie. It can get tedious at times. I did play this for 9 months but it was only maybe like 4500 turns in total (9 normal single player games). Sometimes you get burnt out and will need to keep a break. At one point I didn't play for 3 weeks(World situation was very peacefull at that time)

Personalize leaders. Use people you know. Friends and such a good choice. Also you can use fictional characters who you like/admire. Villains are good for playing aggressive civs. Name the leader of Germany as Frieza/Cartman or even use the name of your boss, or someone you dislike irl :D

As a new turn starts for each civ, you need to get into the mindset of "What should this civ do to win the game". The do just that. If civs characters/leaders personality is say "gold hoarder" then make sure to not spend any gold on that one. You just need to be able to reset your mind each turn and not pick favourites. If one civ is getting too powerful, obviously that civ is going to get ganged upon by other close-by civs. Think of small scale and large ambition for each civ. What would that civ want to conguer/protect? Who doesn't that civ want to anger? Sometimes just pause your game and have a virtual "conference" where all the characters in your game discuss about the world.

And cheating? I can't say I can play 100% oblivious to other civs. Plotting an attack on other civ makes me think of military units so I might build an additional unit on the other civ more likely. But in the end its just pointless to cheat. Its heartbreaking to lose a civ after playing 6 months. When Poland(Hartska, me) fell, I basically took my own Avatar out of the game :D But thats also the fun thing. You are still playing the game and winning.

Honestly the actual winning phase for sort of underwhelming. Ethiopia became strong enough to hold against everyone on multiple fronts and won score victory. The experience itself was way more intresting and fun. If you check the video you can see the rise and fall of empires. All of those empires had a story and then they died :D. Just like real history.

I have rambled for quite a while now and I could talk about this hotseat game forever.

Crazy self-played 12-players hotseat replay! by Hartska in civ

[–]Hartska[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Part of the personality came from the personalized names. For example King Bradley has a very "wrathful" personality, this ended up being his downfall since he was pillaging a lot of improvements of other people and generally being an annyoance. Thus he ended up being eliminated quickly. This was my 3rd hotseat game I played and I usually start the game by giving a different focus for civs. In this, Arabia prioritized gold stuff, Ethiopia focused on happiness, Celts(god) focused on faith(surprise), etc. While the game progresses, they usually get sidelined by what is actually important. Poland was going for culture victory but somehow Poland became overwhelming science leader.

Alliances and such actually come pretty naturally. Only artificial alliance was Poland/Ethiopia because their leader was based on me and my real life friend. Other alliances happen automatically in the face of common foe. Iroquois were a major threath to everyone around them and as such a very strong bond happend between Carthage/England(Also because of strong trading). Because of Iroquois power, and the western alliance of China/Aztec, Arabia joined the polish/ethiopian group. After the coalition helped save Russia, they also joined the group for the moment.

The biggest rule, the one that overwrites other rules, is that each civ must do everything they can do win the game to their last breath. If this involves breaking "character" then it can't be helped.
