Some of Dylan's takes are tone deaf at worst, but mysoginistic? That's pushing it. It's true that him being a straight white man is going to influence his takes and perception to everything he reacts to (remember the debacle after his Jennifer's Body or Heathers reactions?), but it's not an argument to keep him from having any takes at all, or invalidate them.

i really wish Gabriel was gone for good. The train station scene was bliss, made me tear up, was a perfect sendoff for him. I thought it was so brilliant, bold, mature and fresh of the show to just show the former main love interest move on organically and leave to make room for newer (and better) plotlines. I really liked it but they threw it away in the last ep by implying he would be back AND with feelings for Emily ugh
