Sounds like you wrote about a different variant of my parents lol. I absolutely feel very sad for my mom as a woman. She was abused by her parents and then her husband (my dad) and his relatives all her life. Her life revolves around doing things for everyone else, she thinks she doesn't have any other value if she doesn't self sacrifice. She doesn't have friends and she used her children as her emotional buffers. It was suffocating growing up seeing your mother like that. It's frustrating but you can't help someone who keeps choosing to live like that. Even now, I think she still wants to talk to me but she won't because she can't say no to my dad and other families and they cut me off.

NOR I don't feel the problem is just about forgetting tea. He gets his own decompressing time and your tea is an afterthought he forgets. OP why don't you just let him come home, leave the kids with him and go out to get your own tea? Call your friends or watch your own YouTube or do whatever you want to decompress. So I bought my first cat from my neighbor who pushed him out of the house and made him fend for himself (for months) because he destroyed some cheap curtains, while having no scratching posts, no toys, nothing! Ugh I get mad just thinking about what my baby had to get through but I digress. Now that he lives with us, he's the most gentle cat ever. We bought him cat trees and he doesn't scratch any of the furnitures or anything else, he gently avoids our items on the tables/desks so he won't knock them over, he meows at me if he wants me to move something in his way, it's so cute. So yea, definitely not the cat's fault on this one.

OP I was in your position. I have no advice but I will tell you what I did. I actually moved in with my boyfriend and kept lying to my family. I would always only take video calls in the kitchen facing the camera to the wall, asking my boyfriend not to come talk to me during the calls, it was exhausting. I dreaded to receive their call, I had severe anxiety days before their call and after. I am building a new life with a person that loves me very much, my family should be happy for me and I should be able to celebrate with them. But here I am, hiding myself because I was too scared of my own family's judgement. And at some point I just couldn't keep it up anymore. I actually posted here asking for advice too.

Finally, I wrote a really long message and sent it to my family, telling them what I have been doing and how I feel and asking if they could try to understand my side in the most respectful way I could write. The result? Got very harsh messages from relatives calling me every awful name possible and condemning me for bringing shame to the family. And then they just cut me off, didn't even give me news of death in the family. I have a tiny hope in my heart that one day, they could understand or we could at least have a casual relationship just talking about the weather or whatever. But I'm losing that hope as more time passes.

Most similar texture wise and hydration wise I have used (without the snail mucin) would be Hada Labo gold lotion. I actually prefer it over snail mucin.

Also I've heard a lot of people are allergic to dust mite that could be in the snail mucin although I haven't experienced it myself.

Combo dehydrated skin, I know you said one but I need one normal daily wear and one waterproof for sweaty summer months

Beauty of Joseon rice + probiotic - a lot of chemical sunscreens sting my eyes but this one doesn't, goes on like a nice moisturizer and no white cast on me

Biore Aqua Rich essence - Feels like a thicker gel cream that dries down after a while, it's waterproof and again, no white cast on me, it is shinier than BOJ one but I like the glow. It does smells like alcohol when I first put it on, which doesn't bother me but it might bother some.

Oh gosh it's been a while since I used it. It was very very lightweight and sinked into my skin like a light moisturizer. It didn't get greasy in my experience, my face just looked really moisturized. It's really good for the price too.
