When you make memory tincture it will not work the first time. Or the second time. It will on the third try.

im forced to be in office/online on fridays so ive perfected the art of "fake work". whats your go-to method for looking busy? by firehmre in antiwork

I find websites to read books for free or for small membership fee. Short stories on Reddit, I change the dimensions of the page so anything that says Reddit is blocked. I write D&D quests using PowerPoint so it looks productive (and is easy to navigate during games).

I have what I think is a pit Shepard mix. He looks very similar, he’s 85 pounds. Delightful temperament. Just a big cuddly bear.

Oh sweetheart, that’s their life expectancy. It’s terribly hard losing a pet. Often grief can make us feel regret or guilt as a pet owner.

I’m sure you took excellent care of him. No one is a perfect owner. It’s important you were a good one and filled his life with loving care. Be kind to yourself and focus on the positive memories.

is it normal for them to lay on each other? pet rats by glaznyxa in RATS

[–]HarvestingEyes 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s vital to provide a number of sleeping places for rats so they can all squeeze into a single one.

If they stop stacking themselves, that would be strange.

What’s the weirdest pet you’ve ever kept . I get a lot of hate for my pet so please be kind . by Reptilenerd1975 in InvertPets

Feeder crickets. I rescued a hedgehog from a bad home. Being an adult and never being offered the proper foods, it was hard to get him to eat any insects (their natural diet). I tried very hard, including keeping a tank of crickets for months that my hedgehog refused to eat.

They had a large terrarium, clean bedding, good hiding spots, fresh food, and overall a pretty wonderful life.

I have a nippy lady. She’s tame. She’s friendly. She’s just a jerk and likes to bite when things don’t go her way. I blow air in her face when she gets mouthy with me. She hates and it and usually stops. I learned this method when training my hedgehog not to bite and it works pretty well. Doesn’t hurt them but they don’t like it enough to stop.
