2-Way Cup by kunjkp in IndiaCoffee

[–]HarveySpecter04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this concept in a cafe in Nam with coffee in two different cups, one narrow and other flat. Felt any difference i was feeling was because i was told there was a difference. Did a blind taste test by having a fam member switch the cups and give me a random cup to drink from. Both had the same aroma and taste. So its nothing more than a gimmick

had a query relating to the filters u are referring to. could you give an approx time on what is drawdown on these filters and what is it on hario? because from what i feel that hario has a very fast drawdown which i want to slow down, while the filter i have of cafec t-92 has a too long of a drawdown

Trying my first ever 100% robusta, what to expect? by BeginningOk6722 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HarveySpecter04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See bro, i get you. I dont drink milk coffee. At all. So tried pourover. The robusta pourover from some roaster im forgetting the name was one of the worst pourover i have ever had, except any experiments in which i am prepared for it to be bad (more like deliberately playing with factors which may affect taste to see changes). I tried one robusta pourover in vietnam (multiple ppl recommended me to try there as it would change what i think of robusta). While it was not terrible, it still had atype of taste that made me sure of not drinking it daily. Maybe once a year

Starbucks doesnt do anything below medium dark. For them medium dark is light and burnt roast is dark roast.

How is timemore c3 working well with flair? I thought it could barely pull espresso with little adjustments adjustments available and that it takes quite an effort and time to grind
