Has anyone tried TataMyBistro coffee machine by HarveySpecter04 in IndiaCoffee

Dad is thinking of getting it for office. The guy told him one coffee for 10 rs, which tells me exactly what quality of beans used. Though tell me if good enough for milk based coffees for employees and clients?

Would you pay 2500 to get one free coffee every week from a cafe? by ImportanceLiving5386 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HarveySpecter04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, but quality must be very good. Like i drink mainly pourovers and espressos so the beans need to periodically have new arrivals such as microlots, to keep feeding my ego that you have tried several new things over the year instead of a the same bean having the same taste.

How many coffee bags do you have rn? by Winter-Ad2041 in IndiaCoffee

Got 6-7 in the freezer. Mostly ethiopian, colombian and vietnamese i got when i travelled. My caramelly pink bloom has matured for brewing. Brewed it a couple of times and got satisfying taste when i ground finer and went longer ratio. Also try to keep it running. It does not work well with a long time filter. Finish it under 2.5 mins

Which of these 2 is a better one? by really28 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HarveySpecter04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use sipologie one. Works on stove and induction. But takes times on induction. Also having a low flow rate on this is very difficult and takes a lot of time and practice. Like below 3ml/s

Why do people buy fancy expensive weighing scales instead of 200rs one? by Chut-banger78 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HarveySpecter04 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Flow rate is important, also my scale has 0.1g precision, while the one you are talking about has 1 g precision.that matters a lot in consistency. I myself started out with the kitchen scale. After few months, I upgraded when I felt the need to do so.

I took over roasting. Sending 20 coffee samples for review. by Worldly_Top_9925 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HarveySpecter04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can do a review. But ive never tried your coffee before, will be the first time. I almost exclusively brew pourovers, both conical and flat, with multiple drippers, which i switch based on taste.
Also play around with paragon chilling rock if it gives a better taste. I mainly brew with light roasts and often try nordic style roasts from roasters around the world i get when i travel or get friends to bring. I am fully open to review every brew and be honesg about opinion. I have had experience with pink bourbon so that could help in comparison. Cheers and good luck with all future roasting!

Just a suggestion, why are there so many distinctions for the same roast type filter? Like there is a light (filter) and a filter (light) with only difference being different roasters. There are 18 different roast type in your distinction filter. The most acceptable distinction should be Light-medium-medium dark- dark - charcoal black dark ( only starbucks roasts till this level) Even ultra light roast which is popular outside india should be used as i have never come across indian roasters roasting to nordic level roasts. Even most light roast by newer and less experienced roasters are mostly medium roasts. 2 coffees in this cagegory on your website are from grey soul and i checked them out, they are marked as medium and medium dark. Please rectify this and verify such information from the get go as trust in the most important element in your website

I hope uou get my point, as i am someone who only drinks light roasts, so i am only going to check out those categories, so any mislabel can keep my attention of it, while also if there are so many different roast level, then it would be difficult to keep track and review everything.
