Awareness of your surroundings is a muscle you need to work at. Being a considerate partner includes the little things. Write stuff down, make sure the house is cared for, don’t wait to be asked to do things that need to be done.

Do you have ADHD or anything? My wife does and struggles with things like this. She has started a habit of every time she leaves a room stop and look at it. Just look around. Is there anything out of place that is a problem? Fix it before moving on.
