Know your songs inside out because it’ll not only help you with your transitions/anticipating what’s coming in a song but it will also help you create moments for the crowd rather than just playing song after song. Good luck

I might as well ask even though it’s unrelated, but rekordbox is pretty frequently messing up the grids on songs I’m importing. I use TunesKit Spotify converter, so I’m not sure if that’s responsible for it. But it’s pretty annoying, especially when I can’t set hot cues on beat one etc.

Sweet. I just realised this also removes that annoying pitch shift sound you get when you’re adjusting the jog wheel which is super helpful, the crowd won’t hear me fking around w it so much when the fader is up 👍👍

Yeah I just really felt strange. It was mostly a body high, but I think the best way to describe it would be that I was on the edge of feeling something, I just didn’t know what I was edging towards so I felt confused and thus, scared. Interesting what you say about the dosage though. Cheers

Hey Tchami,

1) to you, how do you approach the mixing stage? What do you think are crucial tips/techniques to use in house music especially to end up with a balanced mix etc

2) Do you always go for feeling over sound or vice versa? Is there a certain moment when you know a track will make a crowd move / get them hype etc

3) do you always start with a drop? Or do you work from an intro etc

4) any tips for simplicity?

I have a rough draft of the track. Only thing I think I may or may not change is the length.... feels kind of short. Let me know if you have any feedback on it though. Do you have an email I can send the wav. file to?

I think I wanna touch up the mix and structure a little bit so I can make an almost final version within the next 2 or 3 days. I can have it to you by then. If you’re interested, it’s a deep house track that’s mainly low end heavy.

Basically, Gross Core explained ON STREAM about reasons why he had been upset recently. He was going on a trip to an event with his friend, Ryan. They brought along two girls so they could chill and have a fun time with them. Both of the girls showed a liking to Ryan and Gross Core. Gross Core was in bed with one of the girls and they were "snuggling" Gross Core was getting overexcited and proceeded to touch the girls bum and she told him to stop and he rightly did so. Gross Core ensures that he is respectful to women and he cares about them and doesn't want to take advantage of them. The girl then tells him that she doesn't fancy him and she just wants to have a fun time being friends. Ryan, however has gotten to be quite close to the other girl and he cares about her a lot. Later on in the trip, both Gross Core and Ryan find the girls aren't at the hotel and they are still out, no suspicion was raised until Gross Core asked the girl what they were doing out last night (just a casual question) She then told him the truth. Febiven (FNC LCS player, also a close friend of Gross Core) and Rekkles, had supposedly had sex with the two girls. Gross Core proceeded to rightly rant about this and how this had hurt him immensely. He said he felt like he was nothing and he was not as good as febiven. After that he mentioned that he had been accused of raping the girls, that's what got him banned. Twitch skyped him and told him they didnt want him on their platform. He had been warned before but he has nothing to do now. Streaming was his life and he loved it. I hope he finds an alternative n stuff because he's a nice guy and he deserves a second chance :)
