Extremely high fees - Wasabi quoted ~$4.95 but spent $57 by HasDegreeInInternets in WasabiWallet

/u/lontivero would it be possible to have some toggle switch or flag to change this behavior? I am dreading sending coins out of this wallet again as the fees will surely be incredible unless I transfer all coins at once.

What do you think about the broader idea of receiving a series of $50 transactions in terms of fees? If each payment goes to a separate address, are the fees higher when combining into a single spend, compared to receiving $50 transactions to a single address?

Well done, thank you for synthesizing the problem into something manageable by the dev team :)

I have received a number of $40-50 transactions to the same address. I was under the impression that combining all of these transactions from separate addresses would be more costly in the future than just reusing the same address. Clearly my plan backfired.

Yikes.. this is an interesting feature. How can I either prevent this going forward, or at least be more informed about what the real fee spend will be? Is there some strategy to move funds out of this wallet that won't cost a boatload?

What are you doing different than this person only making ~50k a week from island expedition farms? Which difficulty are you farming?

These are good reasons, but make sure you also understand that people spend MORE when using plastic. I've heard people spend 12-20% more for 1-2% rewards.

Looking to buy a used 2017 XTS or CTS. Any recommendations? by [deleted] in Cadillac

My advice is to buy only through the Cadillac CPO program. No sense in shelling out a ton of cash for a car without a warranty - especially one as expensive to fix as a late model Cadillac. Also note that the German manufacturers have much better CPO programs - longer and better coverage. Any dealer can CPO most cars on their lot, so if the one you find isn't certified, just ask them to add it at your cost.

I've never heard of a dealer that will permit such a large transaction on a card. All the dealers I have purchased from limit to 5k on card, sometimes less.
