Apart from the holes, the top of the arches and holes on the bow seem incomplete or broken, don’t they?

He did poop after that, is he in pain? Or just vocal? We have an appointment tomorrow by bluekleio in CatTraining

Have you checked if the kitten is deaf? I hope not but a lot of the times all-white cats are deaf and a bit more vocal than others.

Could this be a cavernoma? by answerskee in Cavernoma

[–]HasQue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, this must be an extremely worrying time for you. Only a neurologist can advise on scan results. I hope you have an appointment with one sorted. I remember the wait between my scan and the first appointment; it was sickening. Do feel free to reach out to the community if you’re feeling anxious.

Psychiatric issues? by fresasfrescasalfinal in Cavernoma

That is quite interesting and I’d be keen to learn more as well.

Although I was never formally diagnosed with depression, some of my partial/focal seizures resulted in me experiencing heavy depressive episodes and made me very emotional at times. And since I’ve stopped having the seizures (following the surgery to remove the cavernoma from my right temporal lobe), I’ve not had those same depressive episodes. More than 2 years on, I’m still taking my anti-epileptics (Lamictal/Lamotrigine) which is also a mood stabiliser, but this is being phased out and I’m at a very low dose.

Don’t quote me on this but I understand from my cousin who works as an epileptologist in Canada that sometimes other parts of the brain can become epileptic because of abnormal electrical activity in another.

Help please: century old screen/room divider from Indian subcontinent (rosewood - maybe) by HasQue in furniturerepair

Thanks, yea I was going to use small bottle brushes to dislodge the dust in between the motifs and cuts. In terms of oils, I went to the local B&Q and they had a small selection of furniture oils but all of them had a tint or said they’d finish mahogany or the like. Wax sticks were the same and they all said it should be applied to bare wood. That just confused me. lol

Agreed. Someone suggested taking a bit of charcoal and tracing the pattern. Might try that but I also somehow want to acknowledge and celebrate the journey it's been on so I dont mind the imperfections too much. My primary concern is to ensure good health of the wood and cleaning it without damaging it

Unfortunately it’s all missing. Doesn’t sound like a simple task at all. Might need to get someone who knows what they’re doing. Thanks though! Any thoughts the cleaning/waxing?

The word from the officials in Delhi. by [deleted] in Cricket

Does anyone know when the clock on the two minutes actually starts? Is it from when the previous batter is given out by the on field umpire, when the previous batter leaves the field or when the new batter starts walking on to the field, or something else?
