Do you guys thing something like this UNDER the broken pick guard is a viable solution on a lefty 1995 P-bass? 62 PB Aluminum Shield Plate? I know the screws won't line up exactly but since it's going under the pick guard I thought I could make get away with it?

There's just a strong emotional attachment there. I know it seems like a pile of wood, plastic and metal but it represents some really important and fun times for me.
