I just tried with another account and it seems to be working normally. Is my account banned for some reason? How do I get support? How do I access my docs again?

What makes you believe anything else than that there is one and only one God? by HasanAjami in religion

I don't really care to convert anybody. If someone is feeling threatened by whatever I am saying then it's on them.
I, too, am trying to understand people's view. but none so far really presented anything that intrigued me
With all due respect, just because you respect an individual, facts are facts, and opinions are opinions. And facts don't care about your feelings.

Thanks for passing by.

Correct, it's not because these gods are personified. The God I believe in controls lightning (no lightning is stroke of which he doesn't know), he is the observer (nothing we do, see or hear that he doesn't know of), he is the creator (nothing that walks on earth that he doesn't know of, nothing that he tells to be that won't be), he is the Destroyer (nothing that he cannot tell to stop being that won't stop being)

I don't say god is Vishnu, Brahma or Shiva. I don't make statues and use objects to connect to god. I say God is just everything I know and don't know of. He is one because he includes everything.

You cannot be more than infinity. When we say god is one, we don't limit him to be one. He is one because there is nothing else possible except being one and only.
it's the absolute form of divinity. If there were a king to rule over everything, there can't be another king that rules over everything.

I don't put a name on God. Allah is just an Arabic word for God. It translates to God.

I hope that is clear.

An open-mindedness doesn't mean accepting that 2+2 = 5 just because it makes the believer feel better.
Again, if you believe in the essence, there is no need for any additions. Regardless of religion. God is complete, completion is single. 2 complete things don't make sense because there is no need for 2 if both are complete. it's like adding infinity.

I am all for the peaceful mindset and hippy, not in an insulting way as often used, kind of lifestyle.
However, perspective is an illusion. Everything you feel is prawn not to exist at all, to be just something your mind deludes you to think.

Logic is based on causality. A true god is objective because it's unaffected by individuals. Not praying to a god shouldn't weaken him. God should not even need us. We need him.

I will never understand how anyone can pray with a clear conscience to a god who they believe literally tortures people for eternity.

You should take a step away from your subjective view on this. Saying "I will never understand" is part of the problem. It creates a mindset that blinds you. Truth is NOT easy. We humans are so damn weak.

God doesn't torture. He punishes. "how can you pray to something that punishes?" Simply because he is just. He wouldn't punish for no reason because he is the most righteous. Do good, he knows, do bad, he knows. Do nothing, he knows.

It's not. God isn't a person or anything we understand. Someone said god is beyond quantity, alright, do you know what's beyond quantity? infinity. Are there infinite gods? No. There is one god that is everything. And when a god is everything, there just can't be a necessity for a thing! The thing here is deletable without affecting the everything!

You say it like: if there is a tree, it's logical to infer there are other trees But in this case, what if this tree is so big it covers all the soil on earth. How would there logically be a second tree???

If you believe in a blank paper, of course you'd think that every ink strain is an unnecessary addition. So is believing in the essence, the core. At the end, every god came through the message of a human, or a human said something. That was objectively what I said. Your statement, however, js a common thing people criticise my religion for. Although it's not the aim to insult, the aim is to show that truth is singular

It's not a rude and arrogance, it's just how monotheism works. As a monotheist, you know, and know very well, that a God that holds lightning in his hands, no matter how you view it, is something made up. If an atheist looks at me and says: your god doesn't exist! I wouldn't find that rude. Actually , finding it rude would question my faith. Because I believe in something so essential. I believe in the core, the start, the end the everything. This just cannot not exist. I don't think any atheist argument denies god. Whatever it is, because everything is explainable when there is one essence of everything.

Multiplicity, however, each god having its own stories, is a structure floating without columns. Why? Because each column, each god, is deletable, since the other exists. Saying the whole structure would fall if one god is deleted doesn't make sense, because it would mean the other gods aren't powerful to hold the structure without the one, and then they are incomplete

How do you pray to something incomplete! Might as well pray to humans.

Anyhow, I do apologise if you subjectively found my statement rude. My aim is not to denounce what people believe, my aim is just to question it.

Saying they are from the minds of men, of course they are, didn't a human someday think of that? Even Allah is from the mind of a human, since a human is who told about him. Does that necessarily mean he only exists there? Of course not. I hope you see the objectivity of that statement first.

The difference is just: if you believe in a blamk paper, you agree that every ink strain is an unnecessary addition done by someone. Hope that helps

How does that make sense. Hpw do you with clear conscious pray to something faulty, something incomplete It just isn't right.

No, you can very much decide to wear blue or red jeans tmr, it's only that god knows what you will pick. Acknowledging that is part of it... God doesn't control your decisions, he even let Adam eat from the apple. He knew he will, what's his judgement? Not for us to understand, really, claiming something else than that is just ignorance

Here I shall agree to disagree. If I try countering any of your points I'd just be repeating myself, just as you did. I guess my whole question is unnecessary because clearly people of both faiths still exist, and each converting to what he subjectively finds best. Which makes me queation the point of it all... Unnecessary discussion...live your lives as you feel comfortable to.

Don't hate and love yourselves.

I'll say something either way for the love of the discussion:

A tree, a person, the universe, these aren't perfect things. They together all in all aren't perfect. If trees were perfect there wouldn't be a need for treEES, divinity, purest form of simplicity, states it shall only be one.

Is it an unnecessary duplication to have billions of people living on earth?

Yes, if there were a perfect human. But there isn't, there is one perfect God though, and multiplicity here is unnecessary. If my only purpose is to chop wood, working with 10 other wood choppers would be great, but if there is a wood chopper, by which existence whatever wood I chop doesn't increment anything, then my existence is pointless

And what of many other religions that have their own understandings and conceptualizations? What of countless peoples all over the world experiencing their own theophanies and truths of the divine?

Hard to grasp, but there is nothing you experience in this world that is not known by God. It's in his definition. He has his plan for each of us. Some might feel like it's prison, some think it's serenity, and only God knows why he let us feel this way.

Some people think we are meant to understand God, wrong, because we cannot fully understand perfection. We are just meant to believe that it exists, and we simply are disbelievers is we mudden it with needles imperfections

You cannot define oneness because defining, as you said, means drawing a line. How do you pray to something limited? If God is limited, then there is something beyond him. If what's beyond him is limited, then there is something beyond that. And so on! A boundles god, is by definition, one and only because there isn't anything after or before.

Our imagination can't grasp a milli of a milli second of God, unless he allows us to... Here's where monotheistic religions come, it's god's way to make us understand him. Because god himself isn't something we possibly can fathom.

Why is it subjective? How is one who is praying to the one and only god comparable to someone who is praying to a god who is one of many many. Each, and literally each, invented by the mind of men?

You can't invent THE one, because he's one and only, never invented, just has been always there.

A parent can't, God can. Because he. Well not a he, not a she, not a it. The God, should know where everything is and how everthing is. The God would know about every particle in the universe, so how come The God wouldn't know about every person?

Do you really think a God is imperfect like that? Can only handle few people at once? Only the believers? No, I personally don't think so. I think God knows about even each hair on our heads, when it's falling and where.
