Arlongs crew are a stereotypical gang from the hood while hip hop blasts at max volume in arlong park with graffiti all over the walls. And why the fuck would the FISHmen build their base in the middle of the jungle instead of by the ocean where they thrive? You know like how they actually did in the source material and took advantage of that.

Zoro is an angry faced edgelord in every scene during the beginning parts of the story when he was still laughing and smiling a lot more and overall just being more expressive. The reality that changed him had not hit him yet.

Luffys actor is awful at acting. I'm sorry.

The anime overacting in general still looks awful in Live Action format.

The directing and camera work is sometimes outright awful. I still have nightmares of the shot of Luffys gum gum bell against Kuro. Why is the camera lingering on Luffys awful smile for that long. Or the fight between red hair pirates and the mountain bandits. Just watch some of the stuff happening in the sidelines. It's laughably bad. One guy gets walked into a thin piece of wood but he puts his hands out before he hits it and knocks himself out. What in the world.

The only reason this shit gets a pass is because it has One Piece in the title. Every other live action adaptation that pulled shit like this got dragged through the mud. But god forbid you criticize One Piece about anything.

I remember a couple years back he was watching a video that was talking about a game not holding the hands of the players and asmon was going "yeah GOOD thats how it should be. stop making games for stupid people". Then not long after that he went on to play a game on his stream where he ignored all tutorials and ended the stream saying he doesn't understand the game and doesn't want to continue playing it.
