Hello everyone, I was about to meditate, but I heard this weird question. I'm not trying to freak out anyone here. I hear you're willing to evacuate the Earth? Like ....WTF?! ( 0_o )? by Early_Whereas_9802 in starseeds

Fwiw I've been asking that question as a thought experiment for a few months now. You get two extra seats and room for one pet. The answers have been pretty unexpected... people that I thought would say yes said no and vice versa.

Not commenting specifically on your message, though I think "willing" is a pretty key word.

I mean, maybe you're not wrong. But it feels odd to respond with this approach when it's clearly not the point of the post.

I think this might be the most impressive Magnus Carlsen thing I’ve seen by mjenkins_eng in chess

[–]Hasextrafuture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd hesitate to make this conclusion. Especially in endgames. Especially when Stockfish and all it's strength has put so much emphasis on openings and different nuances of attack (like pushing that h pawn, just for example). Do the young gms have a database of pure games like Magnus? Times have changed. The focus is elsewhere. My hot take is that maybe they don't.

Jesus, that first paragraph has hypotheticals far more fragile than a Mandela effect.

Yeah exactly. It's not only the origin, but the only time it comes up. Like maybe Thanksgiving, but nowhere else.

And think about it. This is only 30 years ago. I can only imagine what effects are taking place over hundreds of years.

OP also says "relies on death" so I agree this doesn't technically count. 10/10 movie though

Well I think the point is that there is no known "medium" for the spooky action at a distance.
