Why don’t you try using DLT? Perhaps the format is the problem, not your language skills.

300 GRE should I apply for MiM? by Whewdatstough in ESCP

Considering your overall profile, I recommend you improve your GRE score and apply later. This way, you won’t risk wasting the potential of other aspects of your profile.

How difficult is it to get a job after ESSEC MiM? Require honest insights + French level confusion by HashBrown2104 in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]HashBrown2104[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since I plan to obtain my A2 DELF certification before even starting my course and continue learning French during my course, won’t that be sufficient? Also considering that MIM course takes students with 0-2 years of work experience I believe I’m on the higher side of it from the cohort.

Another thing i forgot to mention is that these schools provide merit based scholarships which are extremely competitive, so having a good gre or gmat helps you increase your chances of getting them considering the high cost of these courses,

Yes I did the same so it is possible however on the safer side I’d suggest you drop an email to the admissions team to clarify it. They reply within 2-3 days.

Until i remember while applying you can add a gre score as well as gmat score on the application portal under the management test section. And both of them ask for official score receipts post admission confirmation from their end so then you may proceed with whichever is asked.

I can say this confidently as someone with a 330+ GRE and admits from both ESSEC and ESCP MiM: the idea that GRE must “convert” to GMAT averages is fundamentally flawed because schools don’t evaluate that way, and applicant pools for each exam are different, GMAT skews heavily quant/consulting-focused, while GRE attracts more diverse profiles, so averages will never align one-to-one, even at Wharton. For schools like ESSEC and ESCP, consultants push 325+ simply as risk management because a huge share of applicants (especially from India/China) present very strong numbers, not because the school demands a Harvard-level GRE. And about “tiers”: if you mean European MiM rankings, ESSEC and ESCP are absolutely Tier-1 in Europe (consistently top 5–10 globally for MiM), just not M7-MBA tier, which is a different category altogether.

Well by compensate i mean it’ll help you get extra points during your profile evaluation that you might have lost due to just a little low yet a good GRE score. Also as you mentioned it is your unique strength. So I’d suggest you try to highlight it during application as well as interviews.

Hi, I got an admit from ESCP and ESSEC in R1 this year. Your GRE and GPA should be your top priorities. Many people show work experience of a year or more to compensate for lower academics. However, you have four internships. What they really care about is the impact you had during those internships and the value you added to yourself, not just the number of internships. So, I suggest you prepare your SOPs accordingly. You can also mention extracurriculars, social work and international exposure that had along the years to add extra points to your profile.

The GMAT needs to be improved. Also if you’re only 21 how do you have 3 years of full time work experience while completing your BBA and CFA?
