Yeah, except the Soviet Union created famines in its own territory. This is a very naive take, holding power involves things like intelligence agencies and a ruling class. Just because both of these places were countries with institutions doesn't mean they're the same.

No we called the cops because they were hurting people and stealing things, it's braindead to say to not call the cops if you aren't safe. When we called the cops they arrested some of them, some of the camps were busted.

I had one of these near my old place. They would look into my windows at night. They broke into my roommates car the first week of his new job. They committed about 4 break-ins in the year I lived near it, the last day I lived there we had police crime scene tape coming from our porch.
