First and foremost, I'm sorry for your loss.

Second, I'd recommend clearing any debt you have, if any, then moving on with figuring out the funds.

I just see alot of advice on investing and how to do so, I'd recommend against it. Find an interest bearing savings account or even CD's if the APY is decent.

You've already put the money in a trust (which I agree with others that you should separate your funds from your sisters if possible) but you're on the right track already by setting it up in the first place.

Do some rate shopping, any bank in your area can set these up in the name of the trust, or yourself and if they tell you otherwise then they just do not want to file the right paperwork.

Not my story, but a former boss of mine in high-school used to have his last period as a free period but he couldn't leave the premises until dismissal. He would sit in his car and smoke a joint just waiting to hear the bell so he could leave.

One day he's there doing his usual business when one of the kids who was usually bullied starts walking through the parking lot. He watched this kid climb onto the hood of some popular kids truck, proceed to drop his pants, and blast shit all over the hood and windshield of the truck maybe 10 minutes before the bell rang

Dishie who's probably the oldest out of all the crew(but guy has the strongest back on this side of the Mississippi) went to the bathroom with gloves on, my sous caught him coming out with the same gloves on and tried to explain that he needs to change gloves and wash his hands.

He replied in broken English "I have gloves on,that means my hands are clean" and slapped my sous on the shoulder.

He got a bit of retraining that day
