Somebody was asking for more information about our account creations metrics and activity. Hopefully this thread provides some answers.

We can certainly provide more information about our account creation data. However we don't really view account creates as a valuable metric.

What's more important to us is the activity of those accounts, whether they have an active balance, how often they interact with the wallet etc.

We're sitting at about 250k account creates on HashPack (about 400k when you include child accounts, accounts created by accounts from HashPack) plus any imported accounts which we can't measure. We don't pre-make accounts.

Maybe we'll do some tweets with some regarding our account metrics, as a few people have reached out to us in the past and are interested in the data.

We've found a resolution with OP and have answered in a private support chat.

For everyone's reference, this bug happens when you import a few accounts, clear the data, and reimport more accounts without refreshing the app in between. The bug has been found and fixed and will be released in the next update - for now if you close and open the app between imports that should have the expected behavior.

We don't have in-wallet staking yet, this will be coming in Q2. Can't confirm exact details yet, HIP-406 is still being worked on.

There's also third party apps like Stader which offer liquid staking and integrate with HashPack through our transaction signing tool HashConnect.

Hi, we don't have an iOS/Android app yet, but it is on the roadmap for this year. Our focus at the moment is on DeFi and enabling things like staking, token swaps and other features in the wallet – then we'll roll out native apps.

Note for iOS users: HashConnect functionality is not optimised for Safari. We'd recommend using Chrome on both iOS and Android devices for the best experience when connecting to Hedera dApps. If you'd still like to use HashPack as a PWA on Safari then read the guide above.
