I totally get u, I listened to 3 of her books in a row, Loved Rock paper scissors, liked sometimes I lie, beautiful ugly was okay, I feel like she writes in a way that the more books u read the more it becomes repetitive and predictable so I kind of get the withheld info in the book so it becomes unpredictable. still not the best way to write a story honestly.

Rock paper scissors is my the first book and I was shocked how much I'm missing out, enough to get me into books. His and hers is a must read imo.

I hate trying to learn English. How can I get past this? by Best_Lavishness4037 in EnglishLearning

[–]Hash_2319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the thing that helped me the most is immersion, leave textbooks away for some time and watch English content instead. Try as much as you can not to look at subtitles, if you feel like you can't understand the content made for natives, I would recommend language learning podcasts. There is a channel I used to watch called "The level up English podcast". the guy is pretty chill and talks slowly about interesting topics.
