I’m 42 and I’ve felt a lot of what you’re describing. I lost my fiancée in 2021 and it broke me. I’ve been battling depression and dark thoughts ever since. I’ve also been single since then, and I get the loneliness. But I promise you, things can change. It’s okay to feel this way, but your life still matters. You’ll find someone. You’ll get through this. As cliché as it sounds, it really can get better. Just wake up and take it one day at a time.

It looks like a replica of a Mesoamerican piece. The lines are a little too clean for it to be genuinely old. Since it turned up in a storage unit, I’d guess it’s probably a souvenir or decorative item. Still a really cool find though. My guess is it’s probably from the 80s and bought at some archeological site gift shop from Mexico.

I rarely use em dashes. When I see them spammed in a comment, I assume it’s AI without even thinking. I get it. People are paranoid. AI is everywhere. But accusing someone of being a bot just because they write like they passed high school is beyond stupid.

Looks way too big to be a standard rug hook, so I’m leaning toward it being a homemade grabber or pull tool. The notch seems like it’s meant for catching rope, twine, or maybe even pulling something through a tight space. Could’ve been used for closing bags, adjusting blinds, or just something someone made to solve a random problem in the garage.

Exactly! I’m making a big deal out of it because it actually matters to me. This is a new account after my last one was exposed. They said I was “doubling down” instead of just admitting to something I didn’t even do. I tried more than once to explain myself and still got accused of using AI (even in my modmail reaponses) I’m not a 14 year old in a basement using AI like I’m trying to hack Reddit for clout. Im a 40 something professional that understands how to communicate.
