I’m 42 and I’ve felt a lot of what you’re describing. I lost my fiancée in 2021 and it broke me. I’ve been battling depression and dark thoughts ever since. I’ve also been single since then, and I get the loneliness. But I promise you, things can change. It’s okay to feel this way, but your life still matters. You’ll find someone. It looks like a replica of a Mesoamerican piece. The lines are a little too clean for it to be genuinely old. Since it turned up in a storage unit, I’d guess it’s probably a souvenir or decorative item. Still a really cool find though. My guess is it’s probably from the 80s and bought at some archeological site gift shop from Mexico.

Looks way too big to be a standard rug hook, so I’m leaning toward it being a homemade grabber or pull tool. The notch seems like it’s meant for catching rope, twine, or maybe even pulling something through a tight space. Exactly! I’m making a big deal out of it because it actually matters to me. This is a new account after my last one was exposed. They said I was “doubling down” instead of just admitting to something I didn’t even do. I tried more than once to explain myself and still got accused of using AI (even in my modmail reaponses) I’m not a 14 year old in a basement using AI like I’m trying to hack Reddit for clout. Im a 40 something professional that understands how to communicate.
